Y-Wing quick build cards??

By drail14me, in X-Wing

Have the full Y-Wing quick build cards been spoiled yet? Google hasn't help find them.

I haven't seen any Y-Wing quick build cards other than in the FFG preview. The 2.0 wiki does link to Quick Build cards for other ships though (there are already 8 known builds for X-Wings and 6 for TIE Fighters and the Firespray).

Thanks. I saw the Y-Wing on Wiki as well but Dutch wasn’t fully revealed. Really curious about him.

You can see the threat bar for the next pilot under Dutch, so yes, Proton torps and R3 are all you get for two threat.

I don’t see a threat bar. The pilot name would be first anyway. However, the spacing below Proton Torps seems to indicate nothing else if you compare it to the spacing between Salm’s Upgrades.

Actually it would be a thin blue separator line.

I have to think with only being threat

evel two, you shouldn’t expect much more than what is shown, and there seems to be enough space below that we should have at least seen the top of anything else included.

What we're seeing below Dutch's line is a threat bar. It must be for an alternative Dutch build which has a greater threat rating. If I recall, several QB cards have multiple builds for the same pilot at different threat levels. Hence no space for another pilot's name.

I hope there are some more Y-Wing quick build cards, like for Norra. I'm playing the GenCon 2.0 event, and I think Rebels are going to need a boost to handle Supernatural Vader.

Each pilot will have at least one quick build.

GenCon is exactly why I’m looking for the Y-Wing quick builds. Also curious about the Tie Advance quick builds. I’m wondering if Vader will be a threat 3 or 4.

Also wondering how the tournament will be organized. Will the 0900 Rebels group play the 0900 Empire group?

The Supernatural Vader QB is threat level 4, you can see it in one of the articles (pic below), and he can probably solo most of the Threat 5 Rebel combos I've seen. Throw an Academy Pilot in with him (which is a threat 1), kill whatever is worth more than the Academy and then never be shot at (meaningfully) again.

I think the ongoing assumption is it'll be Rebels vs. Imps, but that also works under the assumption that both will fill up and be equal numbers. Right now, there are around 20 more Rebel tickets bought than Imps for both times. I think the heavy Rebel lean and how many tickets are still available point to people approaching this pretty casually.

The event description mentions " special rules for deployment and gameplay ", so who knows what that means.

Can someone point to a reference for this also, if this is true does anyone have any idea when will get quick build cards for the Saw's renegade and Tie Reaper pilots? We have the 2.0 content for those expansions but no quick build cards. I am also disappointed that quick build cards are not in the conversion kits from what we have seen so far. I know we will be able to look them up online as they are spoiled or realeased, and maybe they might even be in the app it is just disappointing that this new approach in 2.0 is only available in new 2.0 core and expansions, from what we have seen. Feels alienating to current players converting their fleet not to have those cards in the conversions in the envelopes with the new pilots being released in the first wave of 2.0. I assumed they would be in that content, I know that FFG did not promise us everything in the wave 1, 2.0 ship expansions to be available in conversion kits only the pilot cards, templates and new upgrades. I am also assuming they won't be in the "path" for new pilots and upgrades they will provide for us as 1.0 ships continue to be re-released in 2.0. It is disappointing though.

I don’t think that is a threat line. What would be the third orange bar in the threat line would have been cnetered on the card (middle out of five). I think that orange area is merely an artifact of the cropping of the Expert Handling Card imposed on top of it.

I agree. Photoshop archive.

Mystery solved!

Just came to post this! Without knowing the special rules, I can't see Norra + a threat 2 X-Wing being better than Luke and Dutch or the Gray.

Only thing that sucks about Dutch in the quick build is the lack of a turret. I think he will probably be my go-to Y-Wing named pilot in list building.
