Ghost Crew from Mel Miniatures
Looks great! I cant wait to see them painted.
Someone took “Ghost Crew” very literally.
I'm still baffled that Disney hasn't taken those files down... or am I missing some legal loopholes here?

They aren't producing miniatures, and they seem to mostly be cool with fan stuff to an extent. Doesn't hurt that as soon as FFG puts out official product of anything Mel makes he takes it down from his store so as to not compete/step on FFG's toes.
They look nice. Personally, I'd have preferred a Season 1 Ezra with the blaster-saber and a non-blind Kanan with a rifle if I was going to use them as a Rebel Trooper stand-in.
However, I really see some value in these as alternate sculpts in other ways:
Kanan - alternate Luke commander
Hera - alternate Leia commander or as a unit leader for Troopers
Zeb - alternate heavy weapon for Troopers
Sabine - alternate Commando for the Proton Charge Saboteur
These are very nice! I’ve been slowly picking up IA figures of favourite characters to re-mount on 27mm bases and proxy into Legion over the past few months, so I’ll probably just wait for the rest of the Ghost crew (I already have Hera and Chopper) to drop with Tyrants of Lothal this Fall and stick with those. The slight difference in scale doesn’t both me too much, especially not standing a yard off looking down at a game table.
You should check the Rogue One crew aswell from sun and skull studios.

Mel's Miniatures have amazing detail that cant truly be appreciated in pictures and videos until painted. I did like seeing the ghost crew but they seem extremely skinny compared to Legion miniatures. I know they are for homebrew games and not tourney legal but with Imperial Assault giving us the same miniatures will he be taking them down once released?

I own myself jyn erso and casian andor from these guys. They are both well scaled but jyn is a bit skinny, wich makes sense to me since she is a pretty small woman in the movies. The details are amazing and the "open" poses makes them very easy to paint. They have some new cool products such as a downed rebel pilot as an objective token.
