Are folks running Store Championship kits this year allowed to run 2nd edition? There's a group in our city that's pushing their tournament into September so they can run it as 2.0, but some folks are saying that's not allowed. Anybody know?

Store champs are supposed to happen no later than August 26th. but I don't know how strict that is enforced. or if there is any real consequence to doing one later.

They said they were already cleared by FFG to hold it in September. Just wondering if there’s a rule that this season’s Store Champs have to be 1.0 other than the date restriction.

I know one of the local stores here are holding off on theirs because they have seen a drop in X-Wing players since the 2.0 announcement. They have not set a new date. Could be FFG being tolerant if stores want to wait until they have more players. We are definitely seeing a possible reduction in players at Store Championships this year locally. Had one this weekend that many of us expected to have 20 + attend only had 9.

FFG announced that Store Championships are all 1.0. The new version of SC's in 2.0 is even a different name.

Down here (Mobile, AL), we’re treating the store championship as the farewell celebration of 1st edition.

We have one 8/25 and it’s 1e.
