Hello, can Jyn Odan autofire after Spot Weld? When the droid is placed in play???

Are cards targeting a Figure be able to target Companions?

Hair Trigger is at the start of an activation. Spot Weld isn't an activation. The Junk Droid activating is a figure activation though. So, Jyn cannot prevent Spot Weld + Overclock.

If an ability targets a figure, it can target a companion. A companion shares the affiliation of the group it is associated with. But a companion is not part of the group is it associated with, so some (skirmish) abilities cannot be used.

(The latest FAQ removed some restrictions on companions using or being affected by abilities, mainly applies to campaign.)

Can i use Mak to fire on a Junk Droid and then make the opponent lose a Command Card after the droid is defeated?

only if you spend a surge to do so.

yes thats what i meant....great.. then with Slippery Target , Dirty trick , Self Defense for non Smugglers (Jedi Luke) and Run for Cover, as well as Mak for easy Command Card discard and Loku for cheap Focus,

i think i definetely solved my Ugnaught swarm problem my friend loves to exploit !!!!
