So, with Knights of Fate out, by my counting, a supplement book has been released for every career in the Core Rulebook of F&D.
We also have two adventure books and Nexus of Power as well.
What is next? Any news of what FFG plans to publish next for the line, if anything?
I think we might hear something after GenCon, but we might also find out that this game is going the way of Armada...
I'm betting we will get a couple more splat books similar to Nexus of Power that goes over other force style organizations and traditions. Similar to Sons of Fortune and Lords of Nal Hutta
2 more location books and 1 more adventure is my guess for F&D. For edge 1 more location book. For age 2 more location books. That is what i think is left based on what we have for each line. The next thing we have is wide open space for books like Dawn of rebellion. I could see a clone wars book. A old republic book. A force awakens book. A rise of the empire book

Location books seem to be a dying breed. I believe that they are being replaced by the era books, and will not be seen again.

My rambling thoughts on the matter
1.) With the release of Cyphers and Masks (AoR Spy book), all careers over all three lines will be complete. As such I expect a general slow down of support of the SW RPG
2.) The same people who write and support the SW RPG also are responsible for Genesys and L5R. With L5R launching an RPG this summer, I would expect the majority of FFG RPG resources to be devoted to seeing that franchise safely off the ground
3.) I have this gut feeling that the next book(s) we will get for the SW RPG will be some sort of Genesys conversion, assuming they will release any books at all. I will just be surprised if they don't try to merge the SW RPG and Genesys at some point as I don't think they will want to have multiple RPG lines to support.
4.) Era books will probably be the future (if there is a future), as I suspect Disney will push their license holders to produce content that is more in keeping with the the sequel trilogies and recent stand alone releases. This is completely my own conjecture.
5.) I can't see any more adventure books, as these are typically the lowest selling supplement of any RPG system. Personally I have found the few adventures I have purchased (Onslaught at Arda I and Chronicles of the Gatekeeper) to be mediocre at best.

This is FFG we're talking about here. If they can slice something into multiple lines, they'll do it in a heartbeat. If anything, Genesys is an experiment in a new direction, not their established norm. They may go the way you say, or they may only use Genesys for their "lesser" IPs that cannot support a line on their own. For "strong" IPs like Star Wars and L5R, we will have dedicated lines (or none).
Beyond the Spy book I think we might get two Era books. One dealing with the Clone Wars covering the prequel movies and Clone Wars cartoon sometime next year. Late 2020 we might get an Era book covering the sequel movies and maybe the first season of the live action TV series.
FFG might surprise us with an Universal Career book.

Era is the only thing i'm hoping for. I wouldn't be surprised if we got one after the next film that covered that era. But i'm praying mostly for a Old republic one.
