I would say only if the Force user fails the attempt. If that's what happens, then you could have a scene similar to the one between Qui-Gon and Watto, where Watto says "What, do you think your some kind of Jedi waving your hand around like that?" Where the target clearly notices something is unusual about their exchange. Or if the social roll that accompanies the Force check, nets some negative dice results. A Despair, or a couple threat, for example. I could easily see those translating to the target realizing something is up after the fact . But remember, and this is very important.

If the check to Influence the target SUCCEEDS, then they SUCCEED. No amount of negative dice results, or GM opinion should actually make the end result be that the target isn't Influenced as normal. What happens AFTER is a different story, but if that dice result is a net SUCCESS, then it's a SUCCESS.

Again, I suggest you let the dice result dictate this. If the result has negative consequences, then it's entirely reasonable for the GM to decide that the negative consequences be that the target has some lingering doubts about the Influence event. But, again, if there are no negative dice results from the check I don't think it's fair to inflict negative consequences on the action, just because. Nobody thinks it's fair, for someone who rolled a successful attack action, without negative dice results to expect to have outcomes that would be classified as Despair/Threat results, so I don't see why Influence should be any different. Does this mean that someone who is REALLY good at social situations, and who has tailored their character to be REALLY good at Influence, will frequently be able to use it without negative results? Yes, but again, that's no different than the Super Slicer who has hyper specialized to the point where slicing computer systems has almost no negative results for them, because that's where they put their focus.

Besides, it only comes up in social situations. If there is no way that Influence could be utilized, then it's not an issue. Just like how the blaster master isn't really able to use their combat skills in a social situation. Mix it up.

This, very much this.
