In draft if you pull a jank die / pack mismatch should you be able to play it as paired in the pack?

No, but as it is faulty product you should return it to the shop and take a replacement pack.

Yeah, since it is a event the store is putting on, it is on them to replace the pack and contact FFG for a replacement.

The store I draft at has us draft the Die and they loan us a copy of the card from the singles collection they have. Since mismatches are usually solved in a single box the fix can be easy to find in the same draft or right near it.
