Since Saw's Renegades, Scum it seems are not getting played or having a lot of top 4 representation. One did win a SC but there is such a disproportionately low amount of S&V lists overall out there. 2.0 can't get here soon enough.

Yup, that's the list I was referring to.
But apart from that, run Lust Juggler since Saw's release. Scum barely crack the top 20!

Last year the best result I achieved was second (and in the year before that too). Really hoped I would win something that I actually can show on my wall. All the rulers and cards are nice... but they will vanish in my game box never to be seen again.
I don’t know, I have one of the plaques from a previous year, and I have seen the Cavern Angels plastic cards, and given the choice I would take the card hands down. It’s nice enough you could get a little stand and display it if you wanted, and/or you can actually use it in a game (for a couple months at least, but still).

That’s probably because Scum hasn’t gotten any new toys for two waves now. People are havin fun experimenting with the new stuff.

1,5 Months. IDK. Maybe its just me. I prefer the plaque. I will probly craft something with a frame and glue the card in.

Use a customized baseball card plaque

I live in germany. Hard to find here. Can you give me some link?
I'd find a local woodworker and get a plaque made.
It could just be a shield shape with a card attached.
All it would take is a bandsaw and router, which most woodworkers own.

I am a woodworker, and just let me say that if you whipped out a shield-shaped plaque using nothing but a bandsaw and a router then the results would not be very impressive.
Plus it’s likely going to cost way more than it’s worth.
I would suggest going to your local craft store (hobbytown, michaels, etc). You ought to be able to find something that would work for a plaque for under US$5. Paint/stain it, stick your card on it, done.

My uncle is a master wood and metal craftsman and would 100% agree with this. Handmade takes a lot of love and time to get right and the results are breath-taking if done right. However there is a huge gap between tools and skill. You can manage with great quantities of either and with both you build masterpieces, but if you’re amateur and use get by tools you’ll end up with something that may be functional but is not art. Trophies should be magnificent not medicore.

14 X-wings in the top cut of a reasonably large event. Wondrous. ?

5 U-Wings too ?
well, I used to do it all the time back in the 80's.
Square the top and cut the bottom with an arc.
Sand the cut so it smoothly meets the straight side (we used a drum sander)
Bevel the edge, most common was a basic 45 degree.
Stain the top, spray paint the sides so it feathers out a bit onto the top
Clear coat the whole thing and your done.
Must have made 100's of these over the years for trophy shops and such.
A nice veneered plywood is good as the sides are black anyway.
Mahogany was the best but pricier. Smelled great when you were sanding ?
Dragon's Lair in Houston was won by not one tube, not two tubes, but a total of four tubes!
Big Easy in Covington was won by a U-wing, Wedge, Wes, AP5
TO gave some stats as well:
25 X-wings
5 Sheath
5 Wookiees
5 Strikers
And only 3 large base ships.
