Best Non-fiction references for Warhammer

By Bindlespin, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I started writing some warhammer fanfiction a couple of weeks ago, and decided to commit to the details of combat. I have started looking up fechtbücher using google books, amazon, wikipedia. I might move on to worldcat soon. And then it occured to me that there are tons of people from Germany on this site (and many non-German but German literate hobbyists) who might be able to point me to the best stuff available. I am willing to read texts in German, it might take me forever but I can slog through it, but at this point researching over the internet in German is beyond my ability, and as a Chinese translator I know babelfish is pretty hit or miss. While my request it purely selfish there may be many GMs and players who would enjoy and get inspiration from the illustrations even if they can't read the text. So, please share any fechtbücher or any other great non-fiction reference material with me (us). And maybe this should be a general call for the best medieval reference materials so it can serve the most people. I would like to stick with germanic, anglo-saxon materials just to keep it warhammer centered unless there is a good argument for its warhammeriness.
