Torkil & Greedo looks like a lot of fun...
Honestly if the HWK keeps a crew slot and picks up a gunner slot, expect me to be running Torkil w/ Greedo and Palob with 0-0-0 & BT-1.
Edit: How could I have forgotten Sunny Bounder & Quinn Jast! Quinn doing something silly like recharging a Stealth Device sounds fun.

Theres much to be excited about in all three factions...

Rebels
- More than anything i just want to use as many A-Wings with Missiles as possible.(PROTON ROCKETS)
- And Luke is extremely fun in 2.0 so any list with him plus w/e else is going to be cool
- B-Wings, Y-Wings, X-Wings....I have disliked the rebel faction for so long I am not sure I am even capable of appreciating the new options it has now in 2.0 just yet
- I really am looking forward rebels but its definitely 3rd in the ranking
- The possibility of playing a YT-1300 that actually requires a bit of thought and isnt just an infinite sloop token stack rey boat is something I am looking forward to
- The Millenium Falcon is cool and I want to use it in game but will only stay with it if there is some nuance to it, which I think there could be...ideally doesnt turn into hard turn around in circles with a side arc the game. But even thats a considerable improvement. Still hype.
- HWK-290s, Moldy Crow was the first ship I bought after the core box because of the nostalgia factor. Looks actually pretty good in 2.0, and might find a home in most of my lists if it works.

Scum
- Starvipers ( particularly Guri!! ) but really all of them, the virago title is interesting. Also have you seen the wording on Dalans ability?
- Khiraxz figters, Graz and Talonabne are still as interesting as ever from a customization stand point
- Protectorate Fighters....Fenn was one of the most fun ships in 1.0 and that same basic platform will exist with less dependancy on PTL
- FIRESPRAYS - are amazing, medium bases make them move alot differently...the entire faction seems to be built around this thing and thats awesome
- M12 Kimogilias....have you seen Dalans ability?
- QUADJUMPERS....prepare to be tractored
- Scum is 2nd on my list of 2.0 factions to try and figure out

Imperials
- Tie Strikers are extremely fun in 1.0 already and in 2.0 they get to play the same game as everything else, but with built in pre-movement boost so now everyone has to play their game?
- Tons of really interesting crew options, I cant even process what to do with these yet
- Tarken, 7th Sister, 5th Son, Moff JJ, Sloane, Ciena REEEEEE, 0-0-0, Vader, Death Troopers, the list goes on....
- Vader is even more fun and strategic than he was in 1.0 thanks to the removal of Engine and Evade basically...having proxied him alot its so encouraging to see how much depth the ship has. Its a challenge, forgiving in some ways, but immediatly punishing mistakes in other ways
- Glad my favorite ship from 1.0 is still going to be a staple of all my lists because it feels like the kind of ship that will reward a ton of practice. Hopefully Supernatural Vader isn't to busted though.
- Tie Advanceds in general are really solid and interesting, FCS makes them a genuine threat to basically everything? Insane stat line once you get that lock dialed in. And thats before missiles. Im glad I already own 4 of them.
- Tie Bombers, TAPs, Gunboats all seem like they have roles to play
- Regular named Tie Fighter pilots....are amazing...can't wait to figure out the best possible mini swarm that can fit a decent ace
- The decimator...particularly Oicunn
- Yea this is still going to be my preferred faction

Edited by Boom OwlHappy Friday to you too @Cubanboy . After seeing all 3 kits, I still think I'll end up bowing to the First Order. Until wave 2 though, buffed Defenders, bombing Strikers, and TAPs with force points, will have me playing Imperials.
Well still waiting on the Clone Wars factions but for now...
The Empire one is by far the coolest but personally I'll be picking up the Rebel conversion kit because mostly I'm the token Rebel player since literally all of the players in my area, myself included are loyal subjects of the true Emperor and want to play Empire. Thus someone has to be the bad guy and play Rebels haha.
And as much as it was nerfed into oblivion, I still love my Ghost and want to figure out how to fly the much slower reinforced fortress or the coordinating team player with twin generic Phoenix Squadron A-Wings or really any pair of Y/B/X wings. It will be awesome to have the classics flanking my glorious love!
I haven't had a chance to dig through the conversion kit spoilers, but I'm looking forward to getting a refresh with 2.0!

While all three converters have things I'm very interested in, the current top dog for me is Scum. The Firespray, Boba in particular, looks awesome. Fangs looks real nice, with old favorites like Fenn Rau and Old Teroch still look solid with Kad Solus looking like he could get some spotlight time. Guri looks pretty fantastic.
And finally, my beloved HWK is nicely buffed. Give me Palob with Lando crew, Moldy Crow, and Engine Upgrade, and I will be a happy, happy man. And still probably a EPT to throw in for taste.
There only ever was 1 faction I was excited about, and it didn't matter if they had cool mechanics or not

I think I'll start with Rebels simply because I fulfill more of one conversion kit of that faction than other factions and I'm very excited to try stuff like medium-base ARC-170.
S&V will likely be second (if not actually first) because I'm super excited to play Guri. I don't know yet what she'll be paired with but I know I'm going to have fun. Maybe her and Boba together will just go smash into enemy formations.
The spoilers have only confused me more about what I want. I'm classically a rebel and imperial player, but I don't care for any of their medium or large ships at all, which makes me feel like I'm wasting the faction by not being open to everything it has to offer. Meanwhile, the bigger scum ships are very cool, and I would be down to fly those (Scurgg, YV-666, Jumpmaster). So now I'm just trying to talk myself OUT of 1 of each conversion kit.
I said Scum earlier, but the reason is because both Rebels and Empire strike me as being very formation flying dependent. Once I broke the Bigg's tether I've kind not wanted to fly in formations again.
However, it looks like there are some exception to this with Defenders and Dash, but by and large both faction look like formation fliers to me. Am I wrong?
barley play scum. don't see that changing very much. Almost exclusively play Empire. The new stuff makes me want to play more rebels for sure and I do want to play some scum. but I guess I'd have to say, most excited for the imperials. Also looking forward to the first order and seeing what new nifty things that faction will bring.

I think Sloane's large range on her abilities makes for a possible break up of a TIE swarm into a non-formation pattern but I think you're generally correct on this.
Soontir Fel: Ace of Legend. Bringing back arc dodgers! I do want to play scum more and more, but imperials and galactic order call to me.
Scum for me; excited about Guri, Firespray, and Scyks. After that TIE swarms (with or w/o an ace looks fun). Plus I am looking forward to seeing what can be done with the Falcon w/o Gunner Luke.
Rebellion, on both counts. Imperials after that, then the Resistance and First Order.
I’m not super excited about XWMG 2E. I do plan on buying a small collection to get some games in.
Personally, I’m most attached to the Rebel ships (ABXY) and typically play Rebels in various Star War games. Still, my favorite ship to play in 1E was the TIE Interceptor and the new Firespray looks fascinating. I’m essentially waiting on any sort of wave 2 information to make a decision.
Well, I'm a solid fan of small Imps but then..... BOBA!
Firespray with Starviper wingmen/women properly floats my boat.

Bought two of Saw’s Renegades to fly the gorgeous new U-Wing and Partisan X-Wings. Extremely excited for Imps and their new crew and ship abilities ( always was a TIE/sa guy), but especially happy that the new Ghost and Falcon look like fun instead of cancer!
I'm getting one of each Conversion kit. I play all factions. Still, even though I'm looking forward to the new Defenders for Imperials and Boba for Scum, I am a bit more of a Rebel player so that faction is the one I'm most looking forward to.
Sidenote: From the unboxing videos I've seen, there seems to be no Evade nor Shield tokens in the Conversion kits... has this been confirmed? (Sorry it this is discussed elsewhere, I couldn't find it).

Tie Swarm + Lambda shuttle : Every Tie fighter pilot is really good + good crew (seventh sister, Siane Ree, Soane)
Elite Squadron : Tie Advanced x1 and v1 : Vader, generics inquisitors, Maarek Stele, nice dial ! Everything look fun !
