Even better: if he shoots first and somehow competently whiffs, his opponent still gets to crit him. So I guess the Special Editor is also accounted for.

I suppose that’s true. Though I’m not sure how high a StarViper expansion is considering they recently released a second model. Even if future expansions have card-only packs. Though I suppose you can bundle pilots in with other ship releases a la Most Wanted.

They'll be re-releasing all 1.0 ships in 2.0 expansions, so people aren't required to buy a conversion kit in order to play. It just might take a few waves to get it again.

I do like that there are some fascinating combos with Iggy-A. Guri, L337, 4-LOM, and the Iggy-D crew. That is going to be fun to experiment around with.

Arc-restricted, but so are a lot of things in 2.0. The HWK chassis got one of the biggest buffs, if not the biggest buff. Torkil's ability was actually pretty darn good in 1.0, he was just on a ship that sucked. I imagine a Moldy Crow HWK is going to be a ship to reckon with in 2.0.

It's also in keeping with the Rebel HWK pilots, who also require mobile turret usage to be effective.

To be fair to Talonbane, he got killed in the battle of Tansari Point Station... A LOT. I don’t think there’s a final death tally for how many times he’s died and come back to die again.

But oh yeah, Guri is going to be a phenomenal monster on the table!

Fel’s Wrath, and now Thweek. I’m assuming Thweek will get introduced somewhere along the way. Fel’s Wrath though... might just be gone for good.

Soooo... Traj Sim is a dude with a big screen now.... ie. the huge ship, Targeting Coordinator bod.

This will require a little refurbishment of the Punishers cockpit.

I'm scratching my head a bit about why they decided Dalan Oberos still needs to fly two separate ships: StarViper and Kimogila. Is he a really well known character or something? Couldn't they have made one of those a different pilot? I mean, they sure went wild with switching the names of TIE fighter pilots.

Torkhil gonna be really strong because his ability is not range restricted and works in any firing arc.

Love Graz. Looking forward to tossing LW on him and releasing him to actually live up to his name and HUNT!

I believe he is one of the NPC-s from tbe rpg line.

Although it's in the sequel trilogy it's clearly not a teched up ship. I would t mind if it lost the slot and dropped a point or two.

Since Salvaged Astromech is also gone (merged with Astromech) odds are they're getting rid of some faction-specific slots. Since Resistance and FO are their own factions right now, differentiation of the sequel ships by the Tech slot might no longer be necessary.

Torkil is still range restriced at 1-3. FFG has said that any ability without a range listing is 1-3. Its better than his current 1-2, but its not limitless.

Am I the only one who is disapointed with the Shadow Caster title? It forces you to have your arc forward, not that you're gonna hit alot with those puny two dice, but it makes you reduce your shooting angle by half.

Also not quite satisfied with Manaroo, they could have increased her range to at least 0-2.

Also noticed there is no force power for Asajj, does that mean anything or they simply decided not to add one, since it's only 1 ship?

Pretty happy with many other things though. Including Virago, Guri, Greedo and others.

Force Power are in the Core Set, none in any kit

If my Tel dies in the same turn that Moralo flies off the board, does that mean my opponent has won or do I get to redeploy stuff in my reserves ... this is one funny combo that I hope I will get to do.

Also what if Moralo flies off a corner , as opposed to an edge.
