Hi,

Just flipped through the book and didn't see any new ships or weapons or equipment but there are many npcs and critters.. There are a few TIEs, landspeeders and other vehicles.
Cool!! Many thanks for looking Alisair ? Had spotted one going cheap on eBay! I probably won't run it but will steal ideas from it & more TIEs is never a bad thing
Actually, there IS a new (well, new-to-me ship. I don't recall ever seeing it, before) called the TIE Hunter. Pretty much, its a TIE with s-foils a la the X-wing. Same performance profile as a TIE Interceptor (speed, handling, etc), however it has shields (which the Interceptor does not). The Hunter also has less armor than the Interceptor. In a nutshell, its a nasty little surprise to drop on your players.
Excellent... I have a recurring Imperial NPC who pilots a Hunter, I’d homebrewed the stats after seeing FractalSponge’s (google his site if you haven’t already seen it... awesome stuff) modelling of it! Love that ship & it made a proper dent in my players beloved light freighter!!
Hopefully folks are still reading this thread... or my response will bump it up into the first set. I am preparing to weave this adventure into our new AOR campaign.
Question on Onslaught at Arda I: How are the Z-95's of "Rust Squadron" supposed to escape Arda in the first act? The ones listed are NOT the "Heavy Z" upgrades (from Stay on Target), and LACK HYPERDRIVES ??
I was thinking that maybe, to pay homage to the "acts of desperation" common to rebel campaigns, that perhaps Rust Squadron sacrifices themselves against the TIE squadrons - allowing the ships WITH hyperdrive (Dust Squadron and the PCs ship) to escape? Allow the PCs - esp those without a "crew role" on their ship - to run minion groups of Rust Squadron against the TIEs?
It also contains an Interdictor-class Star Destroyer, which has yet to be reprinted elsewhere.

According to Viluppo's Index, Interdictor-class cruisers are in the AOR Core Rulebook (p.280) and Fly Casual (p.60).

There is a separate listing (under the Star Destroyer category) for the specific Interdictor used in AoA1

The one in Arda is a L egends Interdictor Star Destroyer (you can tell from the art), the one in the AoR core is a Legends Immobiliser-418 (aka Interdictor) Cruiser (based on the Vindicator Cruiser). This is complicated by the fact that the Canon Interdictor Star Destroyer appears to be equivalent the the Legends Interdictor Cruiser in almost every way except twice the size. Star Wars!
