Destiny Point to activate unpurchased Talent?

Once again, you are talking through interpretation, not quoting the wording, and your bold words are all opinion, with no referencing back to the wording, so quite the flawed argument.

My Insurance background says to me that if it not implicitly pointed out in the wording, then interpretation, it opens itself to (as Yoda may say)

I have asked the Devs for their feedback. I will play as I see it though.

You haven’t read the actual Learn as You Go rules in full, I have. There is nothing in them that allows you to skip over talents in a tree to get to the one you want. You still have to have the preceding talents before you can even partially purchase a specific talent in a tree.

@Tramp Graphics - I love your passion for the rule, but now you're just being rude. I HAVE read Learn as You Go rules in full, and it is clear we have interpreted the RAW differently.

I will let you know what the Devs say.

when everything is bold.... then nothing will be....

You get used to it. Tramp doesn't really take people disagreeing with his interpretation of rules well, and will continue to pound the point until it's mush. Bottom line, he's not at your table, nor your GM, so no matter how much bold he puts in it, you can do it your own way. If he thinks it's overpowered and game breaking...well, good thing he's not at your table I guess. Not much else really to say about it.
