It is just that it seems to hold more pressure than normal for you.

##Modkill EbonHawk
That is the weirdest Ewok I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot of Ewoks.
Now we have our work cut out for us since we just took a huge Ewok dump on town power.
For his part, I think Mads was being sincere with his posts. I guess I can buy a revenge vote, but nothing he’s done seems scummy to me so far.
Ok. Well that escalated quickly.

Was this worth posting? If things are escalating quickly you must have something more to say.
5 hours ago, Ginkapo said:Why? On what basis did you think Ebon was scum? This vote makes no sense.
Purely retaliatory.
Also Ebon, are you kidding me? Dudes a cop and has the temerity to ask “how am I supposed to play this without flavor?”. I dunno dude. Maybe you wait until n1 and start investigating people. Just a thought.
Anyway, sorry for driving our cop to suicide, I guess.

You could argue the retaliatory vote on Ebon was moderately scummy, but I’ve never had an issue with D1 retaliatory votes. Reason being, D1 the only piece of information you have for sure is your affiliation, so at that point in the game the only two pieces of info I have that didnt require speculation was
1. I’m town
and
2. Ebon’s voting a town player, and off of nonsense. Half of his replies shows he didnt actually understand what I wrote.
Post “It’s coming home” high?
Also the retaliatory vote I was talking about was against you now, Mads.
I think Gnips put one in.

Gink voted me. He built a dammed good case against me. I would support him but that's not legal.

Right now, I am most suspicious of Ovi, for being more aggressive than usual, and Mad, for pushing Ebon over the brink. How could that have escalated so quickly? It almost seemed forced (given Ebon's tendency to seek to quit games if flavor is removed*).
CNinja is suspicious only because he followed Gink. @Ginkapo - I never said that you or CNinja said Ebon was scum, but that you were being what I considered overly aggressive, given the circumstances. For you, I seem to recall a brief aggression followed by a quiet, as your questions are answered. CNinja, and later Ovi, but especially Mad, picked up on that and continued it as if it were a major concern, rather than a question that worked rather as a reprimand. At least CNinja later dropped it too.
In an effort, then, to at least get the ball rolling again, and in partial revenge for ridding us of our cop, I shall

until such time as a better plan presents itself.
*I recall him doing this before, and Mad was the one who suggested Modkill.
Ebon attacked me though. And I dont think its actually fair to hold me accountable for him suiciding.

Thanks I missed that.
Oh and Gnips, last time Ebon self destructed it was because nobody would lynch Gink, and he was super sure Gink was mafia. (He wasn’t)

I do think it is fair to hold you accountable. You kept responding after it was very clear you werent going to get anywhere.
He was blatantly town by his first post as well so a retalitory vote doesnt make sense. You should know better.

Well, I had been drinking all day.
But even so, he choose to off himself. I wont take responsibility for someone else’s ragequit.

@CaribbeanNinja with Spain out, may I take back the sheeproof vest? ?

Yes absolutely.
Okay, another thing is that Ebon is always really good at keeping the flow of chatter up. Let's make sure we keep talking. Yes, this has actually been a quite talkative day 1, but we need to continue it.
For now I’m not going to assume this was scum-related, just unfortunate. In a way there’s a moral here: let someone play the way they’re gonna play. It’s their call in the end. With the amount of heat Ebon was catching/no clear tell that he was a cop, scum might have actually let him live as a red herring.

These two bits especially, why would it pass through your head that Ebon asking to die could have been scum related?

Because Gnips and Gink were giving Mad the sideways eyeball.
