Imperial conversion unboxing, a PSA.

I've only read bits of that comic in a store. I need to read the Vader comic though its entirety at some point.

Sounds like your reading has lacked fear and dead men...

In the new Interceptor expansion. Don't worry you'll be able to buy the cards without the mini.

But will the 2.0 interceptor have moving wings?

There's a suggestion elsewhere that it's so Inferno Squad synergise together - put a damage under shields, then trigger all the things that rely on damaged targets.

This. The fact that they're all the same initiative is a bonus when flying a swarm that can't be overstated, too.

im not even sure if i want to try to run 8 TIEs i think i'd rather do 6 unique TIEs lol.

Well, with the general upscalling of...everything else that's not a TIE/ln, it wouldn't surprise me if you can bring more than 6 named pilots. Fitting in a 7th unique would be amazing - although frankly even just 6 uniques gives you a lot of options - there are four easy-to-trigger 'extra attack dice' TIE fighters, plus howlrunner, plus two 'increased durability' swarm members, plus 'what green dice' seyn. That's a lot of options to play with, and they all look good.

I love that that there are so many TIE/ln's with abilities that can't be ignored, yet you only can shoot one of them at a time. So mean.

This. The 1.0 TIE fighters had some stinkers (Winged Gundark is pretty awful, and Dark Curse's ability is amazing until you remember he's a TIE fighter so there's next to no consequence to just ignoring him in favour of other targets), but every ship in that list is a nice-to-have and most of them can pull their weight even without wingmen; just considering howlrunner's ability to be baked-in predator, for example.
