Imperial conversion unboxing, a PSA.

Also guys we're missing the true catastrophe here

WHERE IS FEL'S WRATH
#HoldingOutForWrath

Kind of disappointed the Delta Squadron pilot is still initiative 1. Thematically it just feels wrong. I know it makes them actually a bit better as you can freely know you can k-turn most of the time. Also, why in the **** did they keep the horrible 1.0 art on the card with the floppy solar panels?

The conversion kits are a starting point not full conversions.

See this **** is what got people so mad.

"Everything you need to bring your collection to 2.0"

"Conversion kit"

P.S. not actually everything.

P.P.S. It's more of a starter not an actual conversion we'll forgive the confusion as we named it conversion.

These kits convert every model from 1.0 to 2.0. They never promised that every pilot or upgrade from 1.0 will make the transition to 2.0.

Some of the pilots from the 2.0 sneak peak were not in the conversion kit unboxing. This probably means they are going to be in the re-release waves of 2.0. I don't like it, but I get that they had to give a reason to buy the new waves.

Generics numbers. I quoted that from a ways back but this was about generics numbers.

I think there are one or two not here, but

I think there are one or two not here, but are in the core set. Just like Luke isn’t in the Rebel kit.

I was actually thinking of the TIE Defender Valen Rudor. He is a pilot of a TIE fighter (that is in the core) and a TIE Defender (which was not shown in the video). There are also some upgrades, like after-burners, that are only in the core.

PS1 is soooooooo good for this Defender, though!

And the Onyx is I4, so elite unnamed pilots are definitely represented.

Actually, I4 generics seem to be an Imperial thing - Saber, Onyx (TIE/D), Black (TIE/ln), and Sigma squadron generics are all I4.

On the Rebel side, only Rogue Squadron Pilots are I4.

Blacks are I3.

Guess I'm getting a bit over-hyped, lol.

Yes! I wonder the same thing about the Omicron Group Pilot. It's not even a Lambda -class shuttle in that picture - it's concept art for what would become the Lambda -class shuttle. And to think they had gone out of their way to get rid of the Gold Squadron Pilot art. Dare I say it...?

Well, at least they left themselves some targets for good, usable alternate art cards to include in the kits.

Imperial "Command crew" are amazing, as intended. Too bad it looks like they're limited to the Reaper, Lambada, or Deci.

  • TIE Punisher
    • Deathrain - the ability is better. drop/reload shuts down your (largely irrelevant) primary but lets you drop unlimited bombs....

Wait what? Are Proton Bombs still in? (Not really been keeping up).

My youngest invented the 'Infinity Proton Bomb', like Bomblet but with Protons. Then combined it with Traj Sim. It was possibly the most broken thing I've ever let them put on the table.

Yes, although they just inflict critical damage now (so shields stop them).

Ah cheers. That makes a HUGE difference. An Upsilon should never die with 6 shields still on it's card. (Both my sons were equipped with that nightmare).

Inferno Squadron hype!!! I literally just finished the book like an hour ago, so awesome they included Seyn!

So Scum get a 0-0-0 (black protocol droid) crew and BT-1 gunner that are Scum or squad containing Vader only. Weird that they would skip including both of these droids and Maul from both conversion kits that can run them. This is especially weird as the Imperial conversion kit includes a calculate token, which 000 provides, but not 000 itself.

Where did you hear about 0-0-0? Did I miss him being mentioned in the video?

Edit: whoops. Never mind. I see the Scum unboxing thread. Sorry to disturb.

He's in the scum unboxing.

Yep. Saw the thread right after I posted. But anyway, thanks!

Why is 0-0-0 in the scum faction? Isn't he Vader's droid?

Technically he and BT were Aphra’s droids, but she was working as a freelance operative for Vader when she activated them and they got coded to respond to Vader as “master” also.

I think because he and his companion stuck with Doctor Aphra, who was an intempendent working for Vader. Do wonder if this is a sign she will arrive soon, and if she is in a ship, if her ship can be in a squad with Vader.

Personally, I think Ketsu should have had a similar mechanic with Sabine.
