White reload on Firespray...interesting. Also wouldn't first scum article for 2e be the Lando Falcon?

You are technically correct. The best kind of correct.

E: Boba with Han gunner is a pretty solid platform for that white reload. Cluster Missiles, reloading every other round.

But reload on the Firespray seems likely to be relatively low-return generally, as it has the double arc and won't have THAT many rounds it can't make a big shot.

Krassis Trelix is going to steal the Andrasta. With white reload, he's going to be really good in that ship.

Emon is back in full force, boyz. And now he won't need to steal Boba's ship to be "competitive" :P

Gunner upgrade icon comes from Marauder title, this build is imposible.

The image here looks different than some older previews which I coulda swore had the wings in a different position. Wonder if they'll surprise everyone with movable wings?

Hmmm maybe... all the pics in this article are consistent, with the wings in the flight position. Do we have any links to pics where they are in landing position?

As I read this card, you MUST spend the Energy and you MUST apply it's effect, correct?
It's not that you CAN spend the energy and THEN apply the effect?

I think we would have seen the rotating wings during the game demos at Worlds, wouldn't we? That would be a selling point for some folks. They showed the spinny Fang, the flappy X, the turreted Y, so I doubt they'd be shy about the rotating action on the Firespray.

I'd love to see it, but all they mentioned was a new paint job.

Cross your fingers & toes though.

There is no “may” on the card, so yes all of it is mandatory.

If you elect to use the arc, range, and damage value ... you Must have a target lock and spend the energy, representing ammunition.

then if it hits, you getbthe effect automatically.

the only choice you have is if you use the weapon or not.

If you have a TL on the target you spend a Charge to fire the missile. If it hits, the condition (flipping damage cards) takes effect. It doesn't say "May" OR "Must" but you can assume it's like a "must". We'll know for certain once the rules get revealed.

Ninja'd!

Not sure how launching ordnance in 2.0 works yet, with energy and such.

Gentle reminder: the lightning bolts are called "charges." "Energy" is an Epic term.

Very nice article.

If I understood it correctly, the Boba Fett crew card means the ship can start the game on the mid field. Is that correct? That's the exactly kind of shenanigans I'd like to do in X-Wing!

Boba, Andrasta, Advprotorps or prockets, seismic.

I'm liking having the three different titles for the Firespray. Some nice ways to further customize the play style of your chosen pilot.

This is definitely going to be the first scum ship I buy. So looking forward to Boba Fenn 2.0

Ordnance requires you to spend a charge to fire and the charges don’t replenish automatically, but the reload action can do so, unless (as with prox mines) the card says otherwise.

I “think” that’s how it works. I may have missed some exceptions.

Edited to correct error.

I think all of the secondary weapons require you to spend a charge to fire them. Then they might have additional effects that may or may not require an additional charge to trigger. Cannons and turrets naturally regenerate a charge every round, so they can be used all game. Ordnance doesn’t replenish charges automatically, but the reload action can do so, unless (as with prox mines) the card says otherwise.

Cannons and turrets don’t have charges (at least not any we’ve seen so far).

Does reload work on bombs? I thought it didn't but they're paired on that card.

Considering proxy bombs specifically say you cant recharge it its safe to assume Reload works on bombs.

I'm fairly sure that they said during one of the livestreams that the Firespray was the same model with slightly brighter green paint to make it more screen accurate. Of course, it would be cool to see the wings able to be movable.
