personally toryn should be on the gr75 cause she doesnt work on the ship she sits on not the pelta and if possible put jiana light on your flagship. You should have least 2 escort ships (i prefer 3) if you run jan or it is kind on pointless

I love APTs but without ordnance experts (and Dodonna) I think you are better off with external racks.

I’d flip the above comment around: you should have Ordnance Experts to make shots matter. Regardless of ordnance choice, it’s crucial. Ditching the Repair Crews is smart because 1.) you live and die by maneuverability, and an awkward range requirement hurts your navigational choices; 2.) these are 4-5 hull ships. By the time one is losing actual hull, a single card will very rarely stop them from just dying to a follow up blow. Better by far to get a final shot off or get out of a hot zone. I feel the same way about the RBDs, but they do a little more. It’s not a bad idea at all to drop them if you need the points. The flagship would appreciate TRCs so it can meaningfully contribute (and yes, Jaina’s Light is great. ?) The MC30 wants to be a torpedo frigate. Cheaper, generates better damage, and equally survivable. You want close range one way or another. I’d drop the Pelta for another TRC90 and a flotilla to push squads, but that could be chalked up to personal preference. Objective wise, Station Assault is dangerous. This list doesn’t scream area control. If you can’t stay near the stations (and ships like the Cymoon will absolutely punish that) you risk giving them 80 points for the “privilege” of going second. Contested Outpost has the same basic problem, just less extreme. I’d recommend Most Wanted (safe, high payoff, boosts damage) and Hyperspace Assault (jump the 30 into an optimal position for you as second player, proceed to wreck face.) Superior Positions is also awkward in that you can’t reliably cash in on it, but at least you have squads to protect yourself. If you want to be sure you’ll come out on top, Solar Corona (or Salvage Run is nice with Jaina’s light and an MC30.)

A snipe list needs moar TRCs. If you do keep the pelta find points for intensify fire which will help the swingy red dice a snipe list loves.
