You have missed a trick. If you take the Tagge jerk gozanti, then you can use that as a blocker and allow yourself the ability to throw in multiple black dice ships...

I've definitely found it tougher in wave 7 to put together an Imperial MSU fleet that I feel can handle most challengers fairly well compared to a Rebel MSU fleet, pretty much for the reasons Mogrok gave. It's particularly important to have something that has a good shot at clearing the big MSU hurdle of Vader double Cymoons (or Cymoon+ISD-II), which can really cause big problems for corvettes and flotillas especially. Compared to Rebels, the points differentials add up for Team Triangle and I also find that having your cheapest combat ships (Raiders) being shorter-ranged can cause issues for going after carriers as early as I like (and don't get me wrong, I still love me some Raiders but it's something that needs to be considered when fleet building).
6 activations to me feels like the minimum, but 7 feels much more comfortable. The main downside with 7 being the points get very tight and you usually need to go without any squads. I've been experimenting with Raider-Is with Flechettes again as well as Slicer Gozantis (a pair of them) and having some success at handling the squadron matchup. It needs more testing to see if it's balanced enough to handle some other top tier fleets.
Edit: Also, I didn't know I faced Mogrok there at Worlds. He was a good guy. If things had gone just a bit differently, it would've been a much closer game. 10/10 would play again.
Your list is a bit more MU focused but feels a lot like the list i developed and took to store champs. I swapped Demo for squads and run an ISD2 over a Kuat, but the ISD, double Raider-Is and double Gozanti are all there. I found having a couple squads to be nice, and Vader us on the ISD instead of a Raider (meaning no BTA, but removing ECMs from an enemy large and XI7s result in a pretty close approximation, also works against Lando which is delightful). I struggled a bit with lining up too many first-activations and losing my Raiders in poor setups, but the ISD didn't even get attacked in two of my games due to insane Jerry positioning.

Yep I didn't bother with Strat Advisor as I feel 6 activations is where its at. I'm not that concerned with running into a 7 rebel list. I have faced 8 with only 4 activations lol. I would if I wanted to drop a goz for either bid or upgrades add it back in though. I am still debating on ISD 1 with H9 gunnery teams. Obviously would require Tua ECM then. But then I can't effectively take advantage of someone elses adv gunnery in their objectives.
Yes timing for raiders is difficult since they don't have a redirect when 6 damage and an accuracy is all that is needed to pop them (baring evade ranges). They definitely require last first to hopefully keep them alive, only risking them for the sqn phase. In this list they aren't the heavy hitters only flankers and forkers. Can also be used as a throwaway/bait before Demo comes in.
Since the article I have also come up with a 6 activation double ISD list similar to what I ran at both NOVA and UK nats last year. Except now it has a naked Raider lifeboat for jerry. But I'll leave the list as is for at least one tournament.
Does an ISD featuring list quantify as MSU? I think we need to seperate high activation and MSU, lest we refer to ISD 5 Gozanti from yonder as MSU....

Quasar for 4 squads seems like a waste, especially if you aren't running Ruthless Strategist.....you could drop it for another raider, then add Ordinance Expert to Demo and Vader boarding to Raider 1.
