Lack of Rebel Fleet Troopers

By TheEldarGuy, in Star Wars: Legion

Hello to anyone at FFG,

<StartRant> The local FFG Distributors in Australia (that'd be both of them) aren't ordering enough Kit! No Fleet Troopers in my state at all, the latest IA Maps aren't coming in, and there's a mess o trouble when trying to get any of your product in. <endRant>

There aren't many anywhere - they're officially sold out and being reprinted.

I personally blame Lord Vader for your lack of rebel troopers.

Not in Victoria. That might be 6 in Australia - which is a pretty big place mind you)

Oh I know.

I grew up in Gippsland, outside of Melbourne, after all.

But counterpoint:

Canada is bigger, with a larger population, and has one.

I'm out that side of town also, and it's a right bugger trying to get kit.

I've actually tried to raise the issue with FFG, but their group seem to think they're being well represented - which unfortunately they're not. With life commitments it's hard enough to organise a game, but aside from a chosen few, many places are reluctant to host events.

Honestly, I'd take a trip down to Moorabbin and talk to the guys at Jedko directly about them getting kit in, and just telling them you're a small independant retailer....

They did it for me way back when, when I was having to get BattleTech stuff to maintain my Marauder-ship ;)

The WizKids click-a-drip-ship?

That would make for some good terrain....

I did the same thing 'back in the day'. BattleTech and all the Eldar Shining Spears I could purchase (when they were very difficult to find).

They only do the basic boardgames and supply the GamesWorld stores with jigsaw puzzles and drinking games. They haven't done minis for a while.

Even the folk at Croydon and Nunawading have all but fallen by the wayside.

The community has been shot to pieces - there's still a strong market, but the small fish are being eaten by the bigger fish.
