I've been playing Imperials since I started with Armada, and have done ridiculously well with them (1 loss, 10 or so wins so far). Here's the thing, we've just started a second Corellian Conflict at our FLGS, and in order to balance the teams I'm on the rebel side. I've borrowed some ships and I'm getting a few more in at the moment, but there are some tough decisions ahead before my first game sometime next week.
What I know About the Imperials So Far:
1. Tarkin, flying with a Cymoon, VIC II and a Glad II. TIE ball escort with 2 gauntlets. Newest player of the group.
2. Mystery Admiral, almost certainly flying 2 VIC IIs and an ISD of some sort.
3. Mystery Admiral, almost certainly flying either 2 ISDs or an ISD, QUasar and gozanti.
Rebels Spoken For:
1. Ackbar flying an MC-8 and -75, plus a CR-90. Alphabet soup squadrons.
2. Rieekan, flying 2 MC-30s, 1 MC-7. Corran and a couple others.
What I want to Fly:
Assault: Opening Salvo
Defense: Capture the VIP
Navigation: Intel Sweep
MC30c Torpedo Frigate (63)
• Advanced Projectors (6)
= 69 Points

Squadrons:
• Shara Bey (17)
• A-wing Squadron (11)
Totalling 400 points.
Ridiculous firepower and activation advantage, but incredibly squishy at close range until I can get more defensive upgrades on. What I'm wondering is if the MC-30s would be better served by being given a title each, rather than the projectors, and if it'd b better to have a Toryn Farr gozanti nstead of the measly 2 A-wings?
I'm attacking Corellia itself in the first campaign round, so there's a lot of pressure on me to succeed here.
