We were playing a mission that had a trigger when a hero entered a certain tile. The Imperial Player could choose an effect of that trigger which could stun. Ghaarkhan used his charge action and was stunned mid Charge. Gaarkhan had the class card Wookie Fortitude, which he used to remove the stun and continue his Charge. Did we play this correctly?
Stunning Gaarkhan mid Charge
Wookiee Fortitude 's timing is "during your activation", so it can be used before or after actions during Gaarkhan's activation, but not during actions (or during other "during your activation" abilities, see FAQ 3.0 for during you activation abilities not being able to interrupt). So, Wookiee Fortitude cannot be used during Charge . If stunned during Charge, Gaarkhan cannot voluntarily exit his space or declare attacks. If he is sharing a space with another figure, he is pushed to the closest valid space, his controller's choice.
So, Gaarkhan becomes stunned, then Charge ends, he can then use Wookiee Fortitude and then possibly his second action.
Incoming, by any chance?

Don't want to spoil anything
Hi,
I was looking for something else and stumbled upon this Stun clarification which may or may not be pertinent here?
IA-FAQ p.11
A Stunned figure cannot declare an attack, but can resolve an attack that has already been declared if it becomes Stunned during it.
Now, in @Jerrus 's example above, does this mean Gaarkhan should still be allowed to attack (if he was within melee range of a viable target). The Charge text reads: "Move a number of spaces up to your speed. Then, you may perform an attack with a melee weapon." As I see it, in light of the Stun clarification, it depends on when Gaarkan's attack is technically declared? Has the attack been declared already by starting Charge? Or is the attack declared during the "then, you may perform an attack" segment of Charge?
The attack is declared in step 1 of the attack. Declaring attack is the same timing instance as declaring target. You cannot do one without the other. Gaarkhan has not done that yet.
(Edit: also note that the attack in Charge is optional. It is also possible there is no valid target when the move X spaces part of Charge has been resolved.)

easy way to think:
Gaarkhan's Charge is a 2 part process
1. move spaces
2. attack
If Gaarkhan got stunned before part 2, he can't really proceed with the 7-steps of attacking
