With 2.0 coming out, it seems that a number of the old "Legends" EU characters are disappearing. Part of it is understandable, especially given the game started before the EU reset, but still sad. Here are some of the characters that have not showing up yet, and may never return in 2.0. If any of you think of more (I'm not an expert on the old Legends EU), pipe in.

Pilots:

Juno Eclipse: (The Force Unleashed) I kinda think she is pretty much gone. The game she was from is pretty solidly locked in Legends. Plus we have seen her ship with her pilot ability with a new name. There is a chance she might return in the TIE Advanced pack with a different skill, but I doubt it. Never played the game, so don't know what other ships she flew in except that one ugly thing that I seriously doubt we will see. Loved her ability, and will likely play her successor because of that, but will miss her.

(Edit, he's around) Soontir Fel: (Rogue Squadron comics) He might be in that conversion kit, hard to say, though many think if he does, his ability will be nerfed. Given his popularity, I'm giving him a 50/50 shot of being there somewhere.

Tycho Celchu: (Rogue Squadron + much more) According to old EU lore, he was on screen in RotJ, just not named. A very popular character, both in "Legends" and in the game. If he returns (another 50/50 IMO) likely to have a radically different ability.

Nera Dantels: (Various comics) I'm hoping we might see my favorite B-Wing pilot in the 2.0 B-Wing pack. I mean, lets not leave Biggs' girlfriend out. But if she does, I don't think her ability will be left without a serious nerf.

Crew:

Mara Jade: (Zahn books, plus) She might be in the Imperial kit, nothing confirmed or denied. But are they gonna keep Luke's Legends wife around? And if so, might see a nerf to her ability, like only stressing out 1 or 2 ships. I could actually she her ability show up as The Seventh Sister.

Ysanne Isard: (Stackpole X-Wing novels) She might be there, might not, and might not. As with Mara, without seeing the Imperial conversion kit. If she is there, suspecting her ability to be tweaked a bit, but not too much.

I want Juno in a Punisher. The rest of the Punisher pilots are her squadron anyway. Plus... Duh.

Well, Juno is still the covergirl for 'Ruthless', so there is that.

I heard a rumor somewhere that Mara might end up being canon, but it'll be in the Resistance era. So maybe we'll see her in a future expansion.

I will miss Psycho Tycho. Would still be flying him today if A-Wings had a chance against Lowhrick.

That could actually be really cool. If they go with the idea of her staying with Karrde instead of the path she took in the books, I’d be pretty happy with that alternative. Could even be room for some feeling between her and Luke, but they never went through with it.

Casting calls don't usually use the actual names of a character, though, especially casting calls for productions that have so much secrecy about them like SW films or MCU films. I wouldn't get my hopes up on that.

Wes Janson, Hobbie Klivian, and Tarn Mison, which is a shame since they're all canonically from ESB with Wes and Hobbie mentioned by name on screen (and of course starring in Rogue Squadron).

Hopefully they'll come back.

I remember seeing that casting call. I can't believe no one at Lucas/Disney would realize exactly how fans would react to seeing that name.

OTOH, not having her and Luke interacting (unless there's flashbacks to be filmed) would also mean she'll be introduced with absolutely none of what contributed to her overwhelming popularity among the fanbase.

If Nera does return, what of her pilot ability? We know full well they won’t let her original stand. I see 3 possibilities.

A) She gets one sr two energy that she must use to fire outside forward. Getting it as a single **** makes it a bit less broken.

B) Limited to her forward 180.

C) Kiss it goodbye in favor of an entirely new ability.

‘Never read the comics with her, so don’t know if there was an in story reason she could fire torts 360.
