Palp aces - Yorr or Reaper

Hello, I have a store championship tomorrow morning and am not entirely sure what to take. I am a long time palp ace player (Expertise Quick Draw, Inquisitor, Yorr w/ Emperor). I usually actually use the shuttle in the initial engagement, but then have a nearly impossible time keeping it alive as it takes QD's stress (and sometimes Inquisitor's stress). I am considering switching Yorr for

Tie Reaper - Sienor Squadron, Emperor, Adaptive Ailerons, LWF (could take multi-spectral camouflage, but I would rather have the enemy lock onto the reaper than QD).

My one concern is stress. Keeping QD stress free makes QD so much more powerful. Has anyone considered switching from the Lambda shuttle to the Tie Reaper?

I think the Reaper has a lot of benefits over the Lambda but if the only switch you want to make is the Reaper, then I'm betting Yorr will still be better for you. It's just so nice pulling stress off QD after a sloop or if you run into tactician wookies.

What changes do you recommend? I am loath to make too many changes the day before! Has a new palp aces settled?

I haven't flown the Reaper yet to recommend specific changes; I'm just not sure the Yorr/Inky/QD combination can be much better than it currently is.

UPDATE: I was able to get a single game in with the Reaper (PS 4) against a Fenn Rau/Bobba Fett list. The Reaper was great to fly. I felt like I could put it where I wanted to and it could actually contribute to the fight. The jam action was better then I thought. It kept Fenn Rau naked a large portion of the time. Yorr is probably a safer choice, but the Reaper is so much fun.

The Reaper could be a good Palp carrier for ships that aren't as stressy as Inky and QD.

I'm kind of keen to try a Palp Reaper + 2x Seinar-Jaemus Analysts. I've been playing around with Yorr + 2x Advanced Sensors/Advanced Optics/Autothrusters SJAs, and I had spare points enough to use Anti-Pursuit Lasers on Yorr, so there will certainly be some wiggle room in the list as dropping to FCS on the SJAs would be possible. With Yorr, he clearly has to trail behind stuff. A Reaper will be able to keep up with the Silencers, which is nice, but whether or not that's the correct strategy is another issue.

You're totally right. I think the reaper is the better krennic carrier whereas palp is better on yorr

Viziers is just 1pt. more than the ps1 guy and has a decent ability. I keep QD and Vizier together. Vizier takes evade - QD performs a 1s/b/t and gets the evade from vizier. After that QD has Expertise/Focus/Evade/TL.

In my opinion Vizier is doing something similiar as Yorr but his ability is way harder to trigger.

You can play around with the upgrades on OL and Vizier. Or go for VI Quickdraw to bring The Inquisitor.

When choosing between Yorr and a Reaper, ask yourself how resistant to stress your aces are. As a rule of thumb, aces with expertise or PTL like Yorr. Vader and non-PTL Silencers don’t need Yorr as much.

Well, took reaper instead of yorr. Ended up second at store champ. Was nearly swept off in final table by 5 x wings. Reaper was far superior (for me) as it was so manevourable and the jam action was great. Slicer tools is a must, so may have to find points.

Great job at your store champ...I think if you go reaper palp aces then just drop expertise on qd fly him a score to settle or just vi with pattern or optics... that’s the only way I fly qd and I get tons of success, and stress really isn’t a big deal then. And inquisitor is fine with stress but you could also replace him with a ps4 silencer with auto,fcs, and optics of a stress free ace....just ideas
