What RSS are you guys using? I’ve never seen an upload quota. PM me if you want to talk ideas on getting around that stuff.
Edited by flightmaster101Here it is, better late than never...Episode 16! Ravos' All-You-Can-Eat Crabs! We interview JJ, the winner of our Durham Regional (aka the most prestigious Runewars tournament from June 23rd). Did the Uthuk dominate? Is there any hope for Waiqar and Daqan? Why is our meta so different?

Good podcast as always.
Wish I had some players up near Ogden Utah.
Thanks @Sirdrasco! Hope you can get some players rounded up, but if you haven't yet, jump in our Discord - we hope to use it to help people get TTS or Vassal games together, if you play on either of those.
Edited by FranquesEnbiensSo as I'm listening, I got to the point where you were wondering whether Reanimates have an equipment slot -- I looked up the exact same thing just the other day when I wondered why nobody puts Shield Wall on Reanimates!
It kills me they scheduled Nationals on the same day as a regional tournament. Hopefully I'll get a chance to show you guys the Rune Golem at Worlds!

Seems good, doesn't it? Twelve trays seems like enough to guarantee it. ![]()

See you there! We will be bringing zero Rune Golems between us, I am pretty sure.

Not to mention, 96 damage to kill it seems like it could tarpit even something mean for a while, even without regeneration...

Just put it on there, see if anyone notices.
I do find it funny that the shield-less Berserkers can use Shield Wall, but the shield-bearing Reanimates cannot.

I mean, it's not like Reanimates get run often enough for anybody (including us) to remember their upgrades, anyways...

So different. Here, the local Waiqar meta is pretty much "Ankaur Maro figure upgrade in a 6-tray Reanimate block". True, we step out to try new things, but most Waiqar lists seem to be heavy on infantry. I suspect with Wraiths that's going to change as people have a wider variety of non-infantry units to bring. Also, Waiqar has been the dominant faction, but it looks like the Daqan players are coming back, and some new people are picking up Latari and Uthuk. By the end of the summer, it's going to be a whole new ball game!

Even better, Reanimate Archers can use Shield Wall, and Reanimates can't.

Bizarre. I run reanimates constantly to varying degrees of success.
There is one local player here who runs Reanimates regularly, and sometimes we get players at our tournaments who bring them, but they are not very common here.
