This was really frustrating for me.

He also said the Ghost has reload (it doesn't, it's reinforce).

Thank you for posting this link! This was new to me:

Informant [crew, unique]:

Setup: After placing forces, choose 1 enemy ship and assign the Listening Device condition to it.

Part of me is kind of disappointed that they don't seem to have the new shield or target lock tokens in the conversion set, and we all know you won't get enough with buying this and just the core set. I mean, lets be fair in 6 months to a year we will likely all be swimming in these tokens but it does hamper people trying to play with only 2.0 components using their 1.0 collection.

Are you saying there are not enough tokens to build any squad? That would be quite an achievement.

It's not like you need a lot more than 4-5 of each token for more than 90% of the lists. And at most you need like 8.

Shields... Who needs them anyway?

Well, I think the Core Set comes with 2 or 4, and the Conversion Set from what I could see comes with none so...

And if this were an Imperial Conversion Set rather than a dirty Rebel one I'd agree but those sorry rebels need a handicap to deal with the most loyal and gutsy pilots in the galaxy.

Oh and just based off looking at the cardboard from the video the conversion set comes with:

1 Cloak token

2 Disarmed tokens

2 Jam tokens

2 Tractor tokens

2 Reinforce tokens

3 Calculate tokens

4 Force tokens

5 Charge tokens

Just about everyone i know has pretty cool acrylic shields anyway.

Targetlocks, do you really need more than 4? Epic isnt converted yet.

edit: Am i seeing this right? Ten Numb has Keyan's ability, but it works on defense now too?
Dafuq? THEY KILLED KEYAN!!

Not really, I mean if you are the one that has to supply everything then you might need more; however the Core Set likely gives enough target locks for most 100 point games. And like I mentioned before I bet in short order we will be swimming in a sea of tokens, just sort of wish at the outset players had all they needed to run most lists at 100 points.

Just to compile the tokens from by previous post plus those in the Core set we get:

4 Focus tokens (Core Set)

4 Shield tokens (Core Set)

3 Evade tokens (Core Set)

5 Stress tokens (Core Set)

6 Target locks (Core Set)

3 Ion tokens (Core Set)

3 Critical Hit tokens (Core Set)

1 Cloak token (Conversion Set)

3 Disarmed tokens (1: Core Set, 2: Conversion Set)

2 Jam tokens (Conversion Set)

2 Tractor tokens (Conversion Set)

2 Reinforce tokens (Conversion Set)

3 Calculate tokens (Conversion Set)

6 Force tokens (2: Core Set, 4: Conversion Set)

11 Charge tokens (6: Core Set, 5: Conversion Set)

Yeah, I think we've known this for a little bit. Keyan's "canonical" appearance (the Y-Wing that survives Endor) is Evaan Verlaine in the new canon. She's actually a pretty cool character though, so I don't really mind.

Eh, I still hope they bring him back for the B-Wing expansion and add Azameen from X-Wing Alliance. It is only right that X-Wing have all three protagonist pilots from the video games that inspired this miniature one.

At Yavin, not Endor ;)

Yeah, Azzameen didn't make it into 1.0 ever either. Might be nice to have him in the Scum Falcon as a pilot, but it's probably unlikely they put any non-Solo: A Star Wars Story characters in there.

I think part of the problem is that there's just only so many pilots to go around and there's a lot of new canon characters now too. So they just don't need to use the EU characters anymore, especially for Rebels.

But yeah, having all three Azzameen siblings in the Scum faction would be nice. Or just having Ace in an A-Wing or something.

I always say the wrong one, don't I? The Y-Wing that survives Endor is now Norra Wexley, not Horton Salm. Although Horton is still canon I think.

I'm a little confused.

You get 2 U-wing dials, 2 K-wing dials & 2 ARC-170 dials, all of which are going to be medium ships, but only 4 medium bases?

Some of the mismatched numbers of generic pilot tokens and pilot cards have been answered. The previously leaked inventory sheet didn't quite tell the whole story. There are additional generic pilot tokens for:

  • A-Wing - +1 Green Squadron Pilot; Total of 2 pilot tokens
  • B-Wing - +1 Blue Squadron Pilot; Total of 2 pilot tokens
  • HWK-290 - +1 Rebel Scout; Total of 3 pilot tokens
  • X-Wing - +1 Blue Squadron Escort; Total of 3 pilot tokens
  • Z-95 - +1 Bandit Squadron Pilot; Total of 3 pilot tokens
  • Z-95 - +1 Tala Squadron Pilot; Total of 3 pilot tokens

However, while most pilots have the same number of pilot tokens as pilot cards, there are a number of ships that have more pilot tokens than they have pilot cards:

  • X-Wing Blue Squadron Escort - x3 pilot tokens; 2 pilot cards
  • HWK-290 Rebel Scout - x3 pilot tokens; 2 pilot cards
  • U-Wing Blue Squadron Scout - x2 pilot tokens; 1 pilot card
  • X-Wing Thane Kyrell - front and back of 1 pilot token; 1 pilot card
  • Y-wing Norra Wexley - front and back of 1 pilot token; 1 pilot card
  • Y-wing Evaan Verlaine - front and back of 1 pilot token; 1 pilot card

And the 2e wiki page for the Rebel Conversion Kit (and the Core set) has been updated to show the front / back pilot token combinations.

I doubt we'll be able to fit more than 4 of any of those ships in a list. I can see it being a little annoying for those who store their ships on bases, but your gameplay experience shouldn't be affected.

The ARC is going to feel really weird with a medium base.

He's still Gray Leader in the new canon.

So do the baggies that have the wave 1 expac stuff not have shield tokens in them?

Nope, just the cards and what looks to be a single plate of cardboard with the ship base tokens.

That's really weird. You think you'd get the whole contents there other than the minis and insert.

i imagine theres only 4 mediums because not a single medium is cheap enough to get a 5th.

You MIGHT be able to if theyre all completely naked but i doubt they'd be any good.

Not to mention theyre assuming everyone is buying Saws/Reaper box which will include one.

My apologies, I haven't been able to watch the video but I have a question for anyone who has.

I think usually when you buy an expansion it has a picture of the dial included on a paper, like this:

DSCN0850.JPG

In my 2.0 notebook I was thinking about cutting these all out and putting them in with all the pilot cards for quick reference.

So does the Conversion Kit have a picture of all the dials like you see here?
