No problem with the Venator except it’s a heavy fighter ship. Given how new the quasar is relatively, it seems unlikely.
Id much prefer the Acclamator. You could do some really interesting stuff with expanding the new Assault mechanic, which would be somewhat thematically in keeping also.
I think the Venator would work well as 2 variants. An Broadside ship where they have retrofitted it to be more of a combat ship than a carrier. Seeing as the Venator was designed for ARC170's/XWINGS, it wouldn't have the optimal storage for TIES. THE other one could be one that was retrofitted to be a carrier for TIE variants, but has weaker guns.
@Crabbok No trashtalking the DP20 , it's Loose cannon. and it is beautifull.

Maybe because in the PC game Star Wars Rebellion that ship was very usefull against squadron, I do really like the DP-20.

The Venator is like a Quasar met a Victory and had a baby, but the baby is 400 meters longer than the Victory and has more hangar space than 3-4 Quasars.

Crabbok works his *** off for this community and the Star Wars community in general, and it shows. I really appreciate that he's a positive guy and rallies people to support the films, the games, the cast. Star Wars fans are often pretty cannibalistically mean to themselves, and Crabbok isn't, but he manages to keep the door open by not bashing that side either.

I would be very happy with a dornean combat flotilla, an IGV-55 support flotilla, and a dual faction dreadnought. 3 ships to produce for FFG but each faction gets 2 ship options. Super!
