True, but I'm starting to think it could have to do with wanting to minimize any negative publicity before X-Wing 2.0 hits store shelves and does its initial release sales figures. I'm sure an awful lot of FFG's eggs and financial future rest in the basket of X-Wing 2.0, and they want/need that to go as successfully as possible.
Of course, that might also be a reason for them to not announce any new Armada stuff yet... rather than splitting the interest and excitement of the player base, let all of them spend as much as possible converting over to 2.0 (rather than sending their funds towards Armada instead). THEN, after everyone has made the conversion to 2.0, possibly drop new Armada product.
Either seem plausible. Both suggest that FFG's priorities and valuation for Armada are basically non-existent, though

They completely lost me on Xwing 2.0. 6 years and you need a 2nd edition? What the **** was I playing the last few years, a broken game that needs a redo? I hope not.
2nd edition should be 2-3 years after the original run if their is demand for it.

Yes. I've been saying this game needed a second edition for the past year. Too many new rules, too many new ships not planned for at launch and its success/longevity was entirely unexpected. Eventually some ships just completely fell by the wayside.

Not even "eventually." I've played X-Wing since Wave 1, back during Kessel Run events and everything. I can pretty confidently say there was never a time when X-Wings (T-65s) were competitively viable outside of Biggs himself. In the first few Waves, they were hopeless against the TIE Swarm. It never really got much better for them, generally speaking. That's nearly 5 years where the most iconic and eponymous ship in the game was generally trash.
I don't feel neglected anymore. I'm feeling outright shunned. Maybe we need to have some more guest authors? That was a pretty cool article run IMHO....

I've honestly just accepted that the game is dead. I'm still playing but I don't have any expectations of it being a living game which is too bad because I really did enjoy it.
We need to bring Nelson back.

I imagine the FFG Dev lunch room is full of Devs caning the **** out of Reddit on their cells. Then, once in a while, one pops on the Armada forum and regales everyone there about the threads here so they all look here to laugh at our frustration. :0)

Someone could make a Countdown to Gencon thread, although I don't think it would be super pleasant and especially not if FFG pulls a Gencon 2017 (radio silence until our wave is randomly announced on a wednesday a month later).
