Most Anticipated Characters?

A comical idea i just had.

Plo Koon. Unless FFG faqs it saying you cant have repeat abilities, right now hes really only good with Padawans...and oddly enough Jedha Partisans.

I have seen several people pair him with Padawans for a free 2cost weapon or a 1cost expensive weapon right out the gate. But i was looking for something less obvious and i noticed the Partisans

Deal indirect damage, discard top 4 cards of a deck. For dealing damage. Holy crap thats a lot of completely passive milling. This is probably the closest to a 'hybrid' deck ive seen, since theyre still doing significant damage just not quite AS much as a normal brute-force deck.

It's not bad can only do it once per turn for 4. You can kill a Partisan quickly enough it's down to 3. As long as you don't waste cards on rerolls I think most decks can deal the 26 damage before being milled out. Pretty sure reroll supports will see more play with all the viable mill.

Character wise I'm still waiting for a playable Han. Han should have had Sabine's ability since he shoots first, maybe in a reprint...

Its more along the lines of casual milling that is enough milling to potentially really screw you over than it is a true mill deck.

Ive had it before with Yoda where i randomly decided to discard the top card and it was something huge. Deck was not a mill deck, but i had full shields and no dice to mod and already took a resource so...kill a card WHOO there went Mauls saber! lol

Course im having an issue building a deck with those characters. Reason being: Partisans only have 1 side with indirect, so i really need another source of it. Without access to Red, thats basically...random upgrades with 1 Indirect face or Runaway Boomas, which would be somewhat difficult to get out w/o a ton of blue dice for Destiny'ing or one of the characters having an innate resource generation thats pretty good. All the good indirect is Red dang it lol.

Atleast until Yellow/Blue get some indirect access worth mentioning it'll probably just be a comical deck that can still win, rather than a truely good deck. I more want to do it because my friend HATES mill decks, but its not a mill deck! hehe

Honestly I really wish Jedi Acolyte was 8 cost instead of 9. Plo Koon + Acolyte + instructor would be really cool I think. Being able to roll Plo out change a die the same side as one of his other dice and than when he resolves increasing the value of both of his dice showing the same symbol (which of course they are now) by 1 would be Huge.... but 7 health 9 points isnt good enough and there is no 7 non-unique that you could also throw in there and not be horrible (maybe rookie pilot of also including Plo Koon's starfighter for weirdness, but why....)

I thought about Jedi Instructor too since shes an 8cost for 9hp, but her die isnt really all that amazing and i noticed it would also kinda break since it refers to "this die" and Plo would have 2 dice...so how would that work?

Could also do Outer Rim Smuggler x2, play the last card get 4 resources. Could get some pretty big upgrades/supports out with that, course youre also kinda screwed if you draw multiple big cards lol.

I agree though, Acolyte would be dope turning his melee into 2/3 effectively pretty easily or 3/4 if you could doubledown on Acolytes. But...7hp...
