I can also find listings from different websites of varying level of dependability stating September 30 (cardhaus) and October (Boardgame geek) as release dates, and I will point out that the listing on Miniature Market is an "Estimated" release date, not sure what they are using to estimate the availability. The FFG Spanish site is mostly useful for stuff with simultaneous releases, like Legion, so the accuracy there is based on whether or not Asmodee pushed for simultaneous worldwide release on Heroes.
Personally, I would also love a December release, but I suspect January might be more likely.

Someone on BGG says Miniature Market told them that the December release date came from FFG.
Possible. It's also easy for "end of December" to become "beginning of January" with unexpected delays. Honestly, until a firm date is announced on an FFG website, I just assume the releases are sometime after any of the semi-official leaks.
I cant remember if this has been discussed but HOT has been 'on the boat' on the FFG page for a while now which according to the FFG site, takes 4-6 weeks(then another week or so once it changes to 'shipping''.

Here's a data point... I got an email saying that the Terrinoth Playmat is shipping soon for me directly from FFG... does this mean that the game is shipping soon too? Anybody got any data to share.

The English FFG website "Upcoming" page is misleading at best. Past products have been "On the Boat" for 2+ months before depending on whenever they get around to updating it. For instance, "Shipping" as you pointed out is supposed to be 1-1.5 weeks, however I will point out that the latest Legion expansions have been "Shipping" for fully 2 weeks now. And the next wave of Legion releases is listed as "On the Boat" since 9/6, over 6 weeks ago, and aren't expected to be released until the end of November.
Now, I will concede that it is possible HoT's English release will be December, with the Spanish release later in Q1 of 2019, but the "Upcoming" page isn't necessarily anything to go by. The only reason I give the Spanish site some creedence is because they actually provide a date, and have only been significantly wrong once on the Legion stuff, which that was a delay due to a shipment issue. As a stand alone board game, HoT US dates might have nothing to do with the Spanish release. Only time will tell, but I'll refrain from getting overly excited until I get a call from my FLGS that they are holding a copy for me.

I'd say it just means the Playmat is shipping. No reason for them to sit on stock of playmats if they have customers that can store the product for them! It may be a good sign, it may mean nothing. But here's hoping!
Edited by Caimheul1313@Caimheul1313 - I just know that the 4 player playmat for Arkham Horror is hard to get in stores or online. So I got mine off FFG. Sadly, I agree with you because they probably have a giant plotter to print their own playmats; hence, it's releasing soon.
I think FFG is focusing on the next Destiny release and KeyForge so I bet HoT won't be out until Jan 2019. Hopefully there will be an influx of articles soon... it'd be cool to hear about campaign expansions before the core drops.
@IceQube MkII No judgements here, I know there are some items that are best purchased either direct or from a different third party, the playmats are often in that category. I still chuckle over the Legion release FFG advertising stuff "Order from your FLGS, but if you order from US you get free posters!" ? Bit of a mixed message there....
I agree that FFG does have quite a few irons in the fire, between Legion, X-wing v2 stuff, pushing the games you mentioned, RPG books, etc, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was yet another item that missed the Holiday shopping season.

I couldn't find the playmat on the upcoming page. I hope it releases close to the game. Sounds like it should, based on what was said above about FFG saying they are shipping them soon. I may not be able to wait until Christmas to open this.
I pre-ordered both the game and the mat, and I just got “about to ship” emails for both of them so they should be releasing at the same time, and should be out for general release within a couple of weeks.
I pre-ordered the Arkham Horror 3rd edition and they sent the “about to ship” email on the 16th, they shipped it on the 25th. If they release AH this Thursday for general public, then that means that Heroes of Terrinoth will be released in about 3 weeks alongside the mat (just speculation but slightly based on factual experience).

Arkham Horror is a week behind what their usual timetable for "Shipping" is. If HoT follows the normal times it should be in stores next Thursday, the 8th, and you should have it by Wedensday at the latest.

I'm in Canada. My local retailer told me that they're expecting KeyForge monday next week. According to him, chances are great that Heroes of Terrinoth will be shipped the same day as well. Apparently it happens all the time in their store (and many others) with FFG products.
Means if i'm lucky, i'll get it Thursday next week ?

They publish a list each Friday, for the coming week’s releases. It’s not on the sheet for this week, so it won’t be released in the UK this week.
Based on the Upcoming page on the FFG site, I imagine it’ll be on the Esdevium sheet this Friday.
