Thrawn Interdictor

By CommanderDave, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Any feedback on this one? I think the objectives are pretty solid, but I’m not positive. Ideally, I would like to trade SW7s for HIEs, but can’t seem to find the two points. I really like having the Comms Nets on both Gozantis and ETs on my combat ships.

Faction: Galactic Empire

Arquitens-class Command Cruiser (59 points)
- Centicore ( 3 points)
- Captain Needa ( 2 points)
- Engine Techs ( 8 points)
- Turbolaser Reroute Circuits ( 7 points)

1 Colonel Jendon ( 20 points)
3 TIE Defender Squadrons ( 48 points)
1 Maarek Steele ( 21 points)

Centicore might be worth dropping for HIE; Jendon doesn’t combo with it. If you’re planning to use Thrawn for a squad command or two, Morna becomes a lot less appealing compared to cheaper non-rogue Aces like Soontir or Ciena. Are you sure this list has adequate combat resources to protect its objectives? I’m picturing, say, dual ISDs just walking in and killing the stations/taking the outpost. Fitting a destroyer of your own or upgrading the Arq to Demolisher gives you a little more oomph and even better potential use from targeting scrambler. Hope this helps.

I’m pretty sure Jendon does indeed combo with Centicore.

You’re probably right about Morna. She’s just fantastic though so I’m loathe to drop her, but you’re probably right on Ciena.

I just ran a somewhat similar list last week with Demo and Screed instead of the Arq and Thrawn and it was a success. I want to try something other than Demolisher while maintaining a solid fighter presence. It’s a tough fit.

My bad on Centicore. It's pleasing to hear. ☺️
