There are some... inconsistencies.

While the cards from the TIE Reaper expansion come with the symbol of the faction, the cards from Lando's and Saw's come with text.

Make up your mind, FFG!

hmmm.. stuff that got rushed out the door has a different layout from stuff connected to the actual launch. I think they have mase up their minds, but unfortunately they did so after Wave 14 was at the printer.

(Printed) Saw's also have those symbols, and some cards have different text than in the previews. They changed some stuff after printing Wave 14.

So a Scum Han with the title and Trick Shot can roll five dice if shooting through an obstacle against a stressed target. And six dice if the target is at range 1.

That's going to require a lot of setup, but it's still 5-6 red dice.

Yeah, I consider Wave 14 to be 2.beta. Here are a few minor differences between what we see there, and 2.0

Qi'ra's ability says while you move or perform attacks. It doesn't specify defending, so it wouldn't change the defending interaction with the obstacle i.e. The +1 green dice.

Clearly this is future proofing because rebels and scum will be getting new symbols for the holidays, while the Imperials are changing their name to Team Palpatine.

It would restrict using those crew with it, though it makes sense for it to be Qi'ra with its ability.

Doesn't matter who. Just give them a name. Heck, Rio Durrant or Dryden Vos or anyone.

Han looks pretty solid, but I m curious if the other pilots will find some use. Paying around half of your list for Lando with a 2 dice turret looks pretty bad for example.

Am I the only one looking at the autopilot drone and thinking 3 turns of guaranteed Coordinate for the cost of a Z95, even without the falcon around?

The PS3 would also see use like this, perhaps for the price of an Awing.

I am wondering since you can dock shuttles in 2.0 will you be able to un-dock Autopilot drone burn a charge or 2 dock it to keep it from getting destroyed before you it can do it's kamikaze run then un-dock it in a better timing window to do more damage.

Personally, I think that Coordinate alone will jack up the price a bit.

Me, I am wondering if you could launch the drone, re-dock it with 1 charge left, then use it when it would go off almost immediately. Would make it harder to counter.

Edit: @heckathornjeffhad the same thought as I typed.

How do you get in to the escape craft from the falcon?

The Haynes Guide that came out a few years ago (FWIW), showed options for smaller craft in the nose and in the port side that launched from the docking ring. The Solo escape craft is a cross between the two. According to the guide, the nose craft has a docking hatch on the starboard side. Presumably, there would be a crawlspace access inside the starboard mandible.

Phantom and Phantom II can re-dock because their title card says "You can dock at range 0-1", so far we haven't seen anything like that for the escape pod.

Good observation.

I am curious at how they are going to make the Resistance Falcon play differently. Because the Rebel and Scum Falcons are very different ships.

So.. several thoughts on this...:

Asajj is gonna be the falcon's best bud with that title.

Han is pretty awesome, he can roll a stupid 5 dice without much effort (stressed enemy plus trickshot), and he synergises greatly with Qi'ra or the I3 pod pilot.

Love Lando, both the crew and the pilot.

L3 in the pilot seat, lando and the new recon specialist in the crew slots along with han gunner might make a sick combo. Perform action (no focus, since she's a robot, you got calculate), time to shoot, perform a red focus, get another focus, when attacking, spend one of the focus to reroll blanks, spend other to turn eyes.

Chewbacca is cool but meh.

L3 crew is pretty cool, might save you from a deadly shot.

Overall pretty darn excited about it!

Remember, the Scum Falcon only has a primary weapon value of 2, so you're looking at a pretty reliable 4 dice. It's 5 dice if you can also secure a range 1 shot while the attack is obstructed. But yeah, it looks like a pretty well-designed ship!

I meant five because, 2 primary, 1 agaisnt stressed, 1 because of han, 1 because of trick shot. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Shoot, I was thinking of Trick Shot, but as soon as I started typing, I forgot about it. Yeah, that's a thing. My TIEs are gonna go "POP!", lol.

EDIT: Huh. I completely missed that the Millennium Falcon title added the die against stressed ships. I mean, I read people throwing that around, but I somehow missed that image on my first read through of the article. That's pretty neat, but I'm nervous about so many ways to add dice. Looks like my TIE strikers will very much want to bring some Seismic Charges to thin the field a bit.

Lando crew has an insanely good ability, imo. There are a lot of ways to have two green tokens each turn in combat, and getting double mods on offense or defense dice as needed from that will be really strong. What did recon specialist get renamed too again? That's the first thing I'd use with him right there, just double focus and laugh.

L3 pilot with Lando crew also has good synergy with IG-88A. 88A generates extra Calculate tokens, and can pass them to L3 to fuel Lando's rerolls.

The Droid Revolution shall finally begin!

What is going on in this place? A new article with new material usually is about 8 pages deep by the time I get home from work. Are we getting too spoiled with new material??

There's only so much theory crafting to be done without point costs.

The thing I really dislike? The "Outer Rim Pioneer" escape pod pilot. Make it Tobias Beckett or Qi'ra or whatever. It shouldn't be a nameless unique.

If I'm fleeing a space battle the last thing I need is to draw attention to a bounty on my head. I'm gonna be "the cowardly dog who ran away".
