Ran this yesterday at the FFG Store Champs. Had a good time with it, but made some errors as far as being too aggressive with the Raiders at the wrong times. (When your ISD has a double-arc on Admo, you can't let something else activate first!). I think it can take on just about anything if flown well, but still needs some trials against other lists before I run it again.

Vader is an awful lot of opportunity cost when you are giving up gunnery teams.

You could just ram admo?

Yes, why not just Vader on a raider?

I have personally found Vader is far more effective choice on a Kuat refit but that depends if you want a long range gunship or a brawler (Im more a brawler myself). Also why gamma squadron? Seems a little strange to me

You can, but Vader allows you to take off things like Lando, ECMs, etc. I've gotten used to not running Gunnery teams, as my ISD generally pounces on one target at a time, usually aiming for a killing double-arc.

Gamma is 10pts for 5hull, no heavy. Also has Grit so can't be tied up by a single squad. Also gives some clutch bombing.

I really enjoy Kuats, but our local has been very MC heavy of late, and i got sick of having all my damage redirected, so i swapped for a 2 as it can take XI7S and ECMs alongside SAD. Also with the twin Raiders the list really wants for a ship woth some good red-range shots

lol, I was the one that @Alzer had admo double arc'd with. Didn't go well for admo ?
