I like both but I only play Hero... Damnit.

Piett is interesting. While 1 is not a high value it is a common value on vehicles and non uniques for things like resources and shields. It is a nice consistency buff that is not overpowered.

Incorrect art for Piett (looks like it mirrored) - I change it manually, but printed version may be still is incorrect.

Firmus Piett ? , he seems great with commandos and I can see him being powerful running elite or single die. Very flexible costing and frame.

Mandalorian: thank god i misread its ability. I thought you played an upgrade for free but dealt one damage to them. Overwriting makes them real strong round to round. A lack of a resource doesn't bother me, yellow villain and neutral have plenty of ways of making money.

Piett, Mandalorian and Aphra with a heap of cheap bots and supports could be interesting.

Piett wants vehicles and non-unique characters whose dice have good '1' sides. Unless WotF has some unspoiled ones he is not going to be super useful except in Battle Droid or First Order Stormtrooper configurations.

Piett i could see at 9pts, never as an elite.

The sheer fact he can go "Resources, now" is big. He can pair with 3 Stormtroopers for a perfect 30pts. You can instantly get 5 resources turn 1 (since he cant affect his own die) and potentially 6 depending on what he rolled. (im counting the starting 2 resources here)

Thats huge. Turn 1 you just played 1-2 3cost upgrades or even a 4cost upgrade (or supports which would probably be wiser given his ability). Even if he gets focused the fact he did that ONCE is big enough.

Only issue is the same issue any non-actioncheaty deck has, it takes a couple turns to get going. Which is why i despise characters that have innate actioncheats that arent specific-die bound (such as resolving a specific die face, do something else too).

Piett would be good in decks that have a lot of dice with modifiers on them. 1 damage here or there isn't winning games but making sure that big mod can be paired is good. I don't think tier 1 good, but something to look out for in draft.

I plan to use Piett to help me win Podracer. eSebulba/rPiett/FOST/Boonta Eve adds up to 30 points, and Piett can make sure Sebulba’s Podracer hits a resolvable side each round.

Cheating in podracing...how fitting!
