I saw the huge errata topic, but I couldn’t find a definitive answer. Are the 2.0 base inserts incorrect for the Wave 14 expansions?

The base inserts are fine.

They don't seem to perfectly match the bases included in the conversion kits - they don't have all the arc lines that conversion ship kits have. It doesn't impair the usability of the base unless a future upgrade gives the U-wing a turret arc or something.

Essentially the graphic design seems different, but they are fully functional.

They have different graphic design, but they do have arc markers. Just not full length lines. Nothing that should cause issues.

So in my Saws renegades expansion the 2.0 bag just had the cards, the dials, and the ship tokens. Was it also supposed to come with the focus, target locks, etc. tokens? I got none of those.

It does not come with 2e tokens.

It's not a "bit" disappointing, it's more than that. I don't understand how they can offer it up as "2.0 ready" when you don't have what you need to run the ship under those rules.

I think it is "2.0 ready" since they expect you to have the 2.0 core in order to play.

At least, rumor is the 2.0 core includes enough common tokens to support a few expansions.

Because like the first core set, they are going to give you enough that not ever ship expansion needs it's own card board tokens. I wish people learned to be patient. But that's like taking a toddler to the candy section. They want it now.

Simple: basically, think of wave 14 as "having the conversion pack items" inside. So, wave 14 needs to be combined with at least one conversion kit - unsurprisingly, given that it is a 1.0 package.

So, to everyone complaining about lack of tokens: chill. This is not a big deal. You will play this product together with one that has all the tokens.

The one thing that surprised me was the lack of threat cards, which might make it tough to use those ships in some formats right away when 2E drops. I hope they're in the conversion kits and don't completely leave out the Wave 14 pilots.

There are no threat cards in the conversion kit. Which is pretty lame.

But seriously, we should all just be patient, take a seat and relax. Our galaxy far, far, away will sort itself out.

Also realize that these are effectively 2.beta.0 in these boxes. You can still see some things that they have refined in the later printings. As it is, they made it so that there would be a few less cards in the conversation kits.

And for not able to fly 2.0 out the box, could you fly 1.0 out of an expansion pack? Also, they might not been satisfied with the token designs when these went to print.
