Don't forget Defels and the fat Gungan subspecies.

I see no reason for Ankura to be any different than Otolla. Given that Gungans are Presence 3, I think that FFG put both subspecies into one profile. Maybe give them Resilience instead of Athletics to reflect the bulk if you really feel the need to separate them.

Oddly enough, FFG's not even allowed to mention that there are two subspecies of Gungans.

I’m annoyed by them introducing their own race. There were plenty of other races from canon or legends that would have been great, foremost imo would have been the Echani.

I'm annoyed at the constant inclusion of other races. I wish that FFG could generate some new content - a Verpine or a Squib or a Minos Cluster or a Lords of the Expanse set. Something that brand new that we can't read about in The Illustrated Guide somewhere.

There's nothing being `made up or ignored the Mouse didn't greenlight.

i find it wierd that people seem to think that it's Disney that are controlling what Lucasfilm can and cannot do, and I dare say the there is some kind of oversight, but as far as I know its the Lucasfilm story team that green light what FFG are putting in the books, Id very much doubt that Disney will have much input onn what FFG do.

As for races I know it's been quoted previously that they have them planned quite far in advance and i reckon that Jawas, Gammoerean, and Sand People will have all been pre-plannned for a specific source book that will likelh cover Tatooine at least in part and that that decision was probably made back in the days of the EotE core.

The length ahead that they planned has been extremely long, example the Bounty Hunter signature ability was the first written , although it was the last released.

The mouse told lucasfilm to rewrite and reshoot portons of Rogue 1, so I'd say they have plenty of input.

Every hierarchy is going to push decision making out to subordinates, and since the mouse bought lucasfilm any attempt at distinguishing between them is semantics.
