Commit one interview’s Amy Pierce:

Alright UFS players after all the talk of marketing and advertising the last couple of weeks we thought it might be a good idea to interview a pro like Amy. For those of you who don’t know Amy Pierce is one of the old STG customer support reps and has a good amount experience in advertising and marketing UFS. We will have a Q and A session with her so we want your questions for this interview. We hope this will be a enriching experience from the talk of how to promote and market the game weather you’re a scout a player or even a future employee of UFS.

Ask her what steps would she take to grow the game in it's new home.

Also what are some avenues we haven't went down for advertising.

Ya scott is a stud like that you got some questions Trane?

definately ask her the most inexpensive advertising route UFS could take. ask her how UFS would be impacted if it was sold at mainstream locations(target). thats about it.

Hey guys...

Amy is cute, and awesome, and worked her bum off when she was at STG.

When she was at STG, he role was a customer service rep, where she called out to stores. She was not in marketing, and at this time she is living in seattle, and has nothing to do with FFG. Prior to her move to Seattle she was in the process of selling off her UFS collection.

While everyone thinks that a customer service person who had nothing to do with Marketing should have her opinion solicited about how UFS should be advertised, everyone who is wanting to know more about advertising, should go and read the following post from Steve Horvath:

http://new.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_discusion.asp?efid=26&efcid=5&efidt=16355

Allow me to draw attention to:

You should advertise more.

Really, where? No really, Inquest was cancelled for a reason. There are entire graveyards filled with games that companies spent huge sums on advertising that are dead or dying. We are talking to some of the video game websites and places like that but there are not many places that will make a difference or are affordable, remeber video game websites charge video game company prices for ads.

Amy is a great person. But she is not the savior, nor is she the person with the extensive expertise to ask about marketing the game.

I understand what your saying but I did do my homework I asked if Amy would be able to answer the questions before i booked the session. She said she can so you guys will just have to wait and see but you questions are appriciated.

Bump we need more questions everyone.

Bump only 4 days away .

1: In the switch to FFG from STG, there was a considerable loss of communication between player and company. Was the communication that you guys at STG had with the playerbase more helpful than useless, or vice versa? Please explain how it was helpful, or why it just didn't help very much.

2: Considerable reduction has happened in UFS prize support. Is this sound as a business practice, or do you feel that greater prize support would help in spreading the word of the game?

3: Extremely hard to get cards have, more than often, been fueling decks to victory in this past year. (Even more so than in the past) Do you feel that this is what the game should be doing? If so, please explain. If not, please explain what you feel would be the most sound way to go about rectifying the problem, and how it should effect the profits of the game in general.

That is a great question I also wonder what exactly will be happening to the prize support in the future of the game.

Tell her I said 'Hi' and that I think she's cute.
