Screed Kuat+ (Interdictor!?)

By Cleto0, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Thoughts? I got a Store Championship coming up, can I bring an Interdictor? I would really like to, but maybe it isn't the best for this list. I am also in between Screed and Motti. Motti gives me 2 more points, and makes these things almost impossible to kill if played well. I am trying out Tractors, because they are never used in my Meta. I think it would surprise a lot of people and be worth it. The most common command on turns 1-4 are navs, but does this still do anything for me? I am just trying to keep things in the line of fire. Thanks for the help!

Minor list change

Interdictors are a perfectly competitive choice nowadays. The loadout you’ve picked is good. That said, they come with two experimental retrofit slots; only filling one is... well...

For 2 points Grav Shift Reroute lets you bring Contested Outpost and Salvage Run, which is a big upgrade to your objective suite. Alternatively, G7s are great if you’re worried about Raddus fleets. You might consider giving the ISD a little more use out of Screed: QBTs + HIEs, or maybe XX-9s? (Heck, you could even make it a Kuat.). To pay for it, that generic TIE isn’t optimal and can be dropped (it provides no deployments, little resiliency, still gonna die with the rest of the speed bump.). Not sold on the Phylons, and ditching them and ET could let you add a couple squads, but you do you. ? Good luck at the tournament!

This might seem silly but consider Konstantine. With two large ships you are going to get his ability off constantly, and it cant be neutered unlike tractor beams. With G-8 projectors you can pin an enemy ship in position and hammer it with your ISD, a bit of smart maneuvering getting you in a favourable arc. Against a bomber fleet just konstantine his carriers towards you and gun them down and leg it. Have been playing a Konstantine w/Kuat, Interdictor, Demo, and gozanti list to great effect recently, and I genuinely believe he is a viable choice, especially with an interdictor.
