- I can find companies who'll print playing card equivalent cardstock, who can produce custom pilot cards if I make up an image of custom pilot cards (or more accurately existing ones renamed for characters in our Age of Rebellion RPG group). So far, so good.
- Where I'm stuck is trying to find any company or service who will print and punch a custom design on the 1/4cm or so thick cardboard stuff like matching ship baseplates, target locks and condition tokens are printed on. My local office supplies store's printing service caps out at business-card thickness, and I've had no luck with google so far.
- Can anyone help?
Companies making custom printed (thick) card tokens?
Chipboard [varying from 0.022 inches (about 0.05 cm) to 0.088" (about 0.22 cm)] might be what you are looking for.
I hope this helps.
Edit: Found some as thick as 0.120" (0.3 cm)

To get color you are probably going to have to print out the custom base plate and paste it onto an old 1st ed one (or cut appropriate rectangles out of another material).

Thanks.
Now I've got the phrase to search for, I've found quite a few companies who'll custom print and cut. Most of them want a minimum order of hundreds, because they're set up to make boxes and cartons, but at least it's the right material, and finding a craft-scale one is now simply a matter of wading through search results rather than not having any options at all.
A little late, but these might work.
