Tell you what, @ficklegreendice is going to love Evaan Verlaine...
Isn’t Evaan new?
she's from the comics.
and was spoiled previously
Hmm, I never noticed Evaan. Interesting that they basically gave her scum’s Bodyguard EPT from first edition, except that she can also do it on herself now. I wonder what the math is on that- how many attacks do you need to be defending against for an extra agility to be better than a single focus token?
did they use the cockpit from the 1.0 edition on the model displayed under the product image? I couldnt notice the pronounced turret in the second picture..
Still no Pops Krail.

Looks like it. lol

One!
Focus adds 2/8 chance of getting an evade, rolling another dice adds 3/8 and you might luck out and get two evades.
Even better if she can be passed another focus, I think a Uwing pilot can do that, then she's got two green dice and a focus! Give her Bistan and an ion Cannon and go crazy.
I know it was previously spoiled, but veteran turret gunner will be really nice if planned correctly, especially against medium and large base ships when it'll be easier to get both arcs on target.
Too bad Evaan cant take Scum Han. Red focus just as her ability goes off.
Dutch is probably the only one that doesnt require specific setup to be useful, given he ignores range restriction for the other ship acquiring.
Rest, while strong, have a lot of setup required. Horton is pretty weak unless you zerged your opponent, which is unlikely to happen more than once in a game, Norra's ability is strictly passive and sounds great since its added evasion not evasion modding but actively trying to use it would be a bad idea, and Evaan has the same problem Body Guard did - if you are in range to do it, you are 9/10 of the time able to get shot too so they'll just light your tokenless butt up instead.
I suspect to see a lot of Dutch and probably Norra simply because she is harder to kill, if only slightly.
edit: also im confused why they put vet gunner in there. Unless i misunderstood it, that card is 100% useless unless you are a dual-arced turret. The ywing is not dualarced
Edited by Vineheart01so vet gunner can be equipped to a ship with a rotate arc action and Ion Cannon Turret makes a rotate action white. Am I reading those symbols correctly?

ICT adds the rotate action, as there is not a primary weapon turret for the Y-Wing natively. There is a red reload action though, which looks somewhat similar.

It doesn't make the rotate action white, it adds a rotate action. None of the upgrades which have "white upgrade" change the existing action, they add a different version of it. This keeps requirement issues from coming up.
So, you must equip a turret upgrade of some kind (all of them so far add the rotate action) to be able to equip the veteran turret gunner (and other turret-based gunners).
The Y-Wing does not natively have a rotate action. It does have a reload action, which seems pretty easy to misread as a rotate action.
Yup, I was looking at the reload action. thanks for the clarification. when pulling up a card image from an article, my computer hacks off the right side so I was only seeing part of the curvey arrows.
Does anyone else think that Dutch has competitive potential; Especially with Fenn Rau? At least two munition carriers taking target locks at the highest initiative in the game seems like it could be a little much. Especially now that Proton Torps have been improved in every way.
Lone Wolf R2 Evaan Verlane, Yavin survivor. Effectively 3 defense dice for days.

That seems like a great combo! Dutch plus a generic Y-wing getting locks on Vader with a PS bid of course. Backed up with focus tokens!
VADER could be vapour by the end of the round.

Benthic Two-Tubes with Perceptive Co=Pilot. Or, for a more fluffy squadron, simply pair her up with Garven Dreis.
So I have a less than serious question... why both Horton and Norra?
It's rather like having Jacen Solo and Kylo Ren in the same pack if you ask me.

The Y-Wing has a front-arc primary weapon. Vet Turret Gunner says "After you perform a primary attack...". So you shoot once with the primary, then get a second attack from the turret.
Ah ok i misread it. Makes sense now.
