I just wanted a quick confirmation that 'sacrifice', in WHI: the LCG, can only occur using your own cards?

The rulebook only specifies it is uncancellable. It only applies to your units because: Recently the Great Unclean One came out - with the Action ability to SACRIFICE A CORRUPTED UNIT TO GAIN 1 POWER. On our first playthrough we assumed you could corrupt an enemy unit and sacrifice THEM, this was overpowered - silly really. other cards do not have this 'corruption' requirement, but its also silly to assume they could therefore sacrifice some-one else's units.

I asked Nate French this while he was lead designer and he did indicate that yes, Sacrifice means one of your OWN cards.
