Okay, for shoppers and sellers this I what I see that we need:
1 - Templates and/or a 1-straight for the new barrel roll.
2 - Charges.
3 - Force Charges.
4 - Target Locks.
5 - Calculate Tokens.
6 - Dual-Sided Arc Tokens.
Am I missing anything?

While it's not entirely clear, I think bomb acrylics may be popular because so far we haven't seen any cardboard for those in the conversion kits and people will possibly have ships that they can use a bomb upgrade with that they don't currently have cardboard for (such as if they don't have all ships for a kit but still plan to buy that kit, like me, or who buy just the models to make the kit fit, possibly like me).
Turns are also needed with middle lines as I believe the talon roll has same end positions as the barrel roll.

Dual-sided config (e.g., S-foils) tokens.
Condition tokens. (Bleah.)
(1) Handled. I think I might've been in Curled Paw's first five customers for them. I have more coming from Applied Perspectives, too. (2) Current energy tokens. (3) Different colored energy tokens. (4) Handled. I've been using numbered TLs and IDs on bases for years. (5) Maaaaybe. I might just use different Focus tokens, since I have 15 different types. (6) Dunno what this means. You mean for turrets? If so, yeah, good call.
Oh, and hopefully ModCubes will come out with an X-Wing 2.0 set, which would obviate (2) and (3). Come to think of it, I should email them and ask.
It just occurred to me that there's no longer a good shorthand for TLs in 2.0.
Edited by Jeff Wilderif I approach it like I did 1stE, I prefer to win my acrylics. never was able to do that with templates or locks. but won everything else. Already did a kickstarter for a tournament tray with templates. the maker upgraded the templates to 2ndE standards so those are coming. hopefully they'll do Lock tokens again.

I definitely get the "pay the Iron Price" mentality, and I'd agree with it ... except that official acrylics are almost always uglier and of less utility than bought acrylics. I've won nearly everything (still need to win some metal shield tokens ... ), but I regularly use almost none of it. (There are exceptions, like the Scum System Open templates, which are great and which I would have loved to win ... and which don't work for 2.0.)

Yes, 6 is for turrets.
What are the dual sided config tokens? Is that something that comes in the core or a kit? If so can you post a pic?
Are there new conditions?
I guess what I'm looking for is 1) new stuff and 2) stuff that is cardboard in the core/kits.
Thanks.

Totally agree with you as far as templates and range rulers go. the official ones, as least of late, have been kinda fugly. But for the most part, I've preferred the FFG tokens over the aftermarket ones.

Ah, but I have discovered the joy of ModCubes.

I skipped that kickstarter. Didn't like the looks of them.
Conversely, I'm still holding onto the slimmest of hope that I someday get my greenman kickstarter order... so I'm not a good judge of which acrylics to buy.

I flat out love mine. I do a fair number of Kickstarters, and quite a few are disappointing, but this one wasn't. They're fantastic for X-Wing in general, and amazingly handy for HotAC. I get complimentary remarks on them at every event I attend.
There's a new version -- smaller, magnetic faces -- in development for a projected October delivery. I imagine I'll be in pretty hard on that one, too.

You are still missing Dual Sided Shield Tokens. Shields are no longer removed, they are flipped over when taking damage, with the "on" side being blue and the flip side being red.

Ughhh.... really??? I love the shield tokens I have. I wonder if it's okay to still use them or not?

Just use what you have. This is really a pretty pointless change in 2.0. I saw the video with Alex saying, "Now you know what you have now, and what you started with," and my thought was, " ... You mean like what's printed on the cards?"
EDIT: If it ever actually does make a difference, just grab a $2 package of red dots and put them on one side of the token.
I mean, it could be used in design, e.g., "When attacking a ship with two or more red shield tokens, you may change one [hit] to a [crit]." But I doubt it will be.

Maybe. The Devs have talked about rules that effect "red and orange" tokens or "blue and green tokens", so it might make a difference what color your shield token is. But since we've not seen the rules, it's just speculation as to if it matters or not.

You basically need a full set of templates, not just the 1 straight, for talon rolls (i believe there is 1,2,3 speed talons so you need all those)

the metal ones in the recent prize kit only have detail on one side. totally flippable. I'm gonna go the extra mile and pickup some red dot stickers to put on the blank side as to not confuse my opponent from across the table.

The shape/color relation to card effects is just going to be a reference to official tokens for me.
Does anyone really not understand that my yellow, triangular Focus token goes away at the end of the turn, or can be removed by Dengar gunner?

Have you not been around for the last six years? Somewhere in X-Wing, somebody will claim your yellow focus token is not subject to the same rules as a green focus token. Three-fourths of the 1.0 FAQ is written for the benefit of those people.
Yea I'm pretty bummed that I made a much of custom acrylic pieces about a year ago and now most if not all of it will be invalidated.
I made a template set, and then a bunch of target locks, shield tokens, and focus tokens.
I guess focus are probably safe at least.
It might also come down to just how strict the peeps are in your area, or places you travel to. I asked our local TO and he said not to worry about replacing the already existing tokens, I just gotta get the new ones.

Why would you want yellow triangle focus tokens?
oh...

I was worried about this too... are the official acrylic shield tokens from FFG prizes one-sided?
I have the Curled Paw shields, so the other side is blank. Should be cool for tournaments.
Most acrylic tokens are only painted on one side so flipping them seems totally fine for shields or even charges (ex. I've been using the CP harpooned tokens as munitions charges and it works great). You can definitely make an argument that the color/shape for on the mat tokens matters to some extent for clarity (although I doubt most people will care) but the pilot/upgrade card stuff is clearly fine IMO as long as your tokens are obvious which way they are flipped.

Plus 1 bank for starvipers, and probably the 2 bank for echo. Easier just to get the whole set.
