So the stuff is now showing "on the boat" which as we know means at least another 6 weeks. Any guesses as to whether we see it at Gencon as an early release? If so, I assume FFG can't sell it there, since they can't sell direct. For those of you that have been to Gencon (this will be my first time), are there other vendors there that could potentially sell it?

If there shipments were delivered to the vendors, then we should see it at Gencon. Like you said, it won’t be at FFG’s booth, but at other vendors.

I remember a few years back a table full of the latest wave of figures at a random vendor at Gencon. If it is available, we should see Tyrants for sale.

Man that would be so cool! We're doing a roadie from Toronto all the way there. My X buddies are drooling to pick up v2, while myself and my buddy Salty Mike (aka Lando Sabotage) are going to try to represent Canada at IA!

Also, there's a few ticketed events for the Tyrants of Lothal campaign that isn't ran by FFG. So either someone's making an event they shouldn't, or they know something...

Anyone remember how the previews usually go? Campaign - skirmish - ally/villain packs (there's more than usual here so they may split them up over 4-5 previews.)

Yeah. We will get a campaign and skirmish previews, as well as one for each of the packs. I won’t speculate as to how they’ll go about releasing those. Could start seeing them soon or they could just flood all the articles right before it’s released.

That person doesn’t know something; he’s just being optimistic (I emailed him). His plan is to run the HotE campaign if Tyrants isn’t out yet.

But here’s to hoping!

Thanks to being more proactive than me on it! I am all for optimistic. I'm very excited to see the product on the boat, but it might have made Gen Con even MORE expensive.
