I'd love to see it when it's done! That sound really cool

I can get some in progress pictures, but it's going to take me till next week to get some imperial flags printed

(on paper, then thinned wood glue to make them more rigid to be able to position them in a nice way like I did for this soviet flag a long time ago: 10154526_590478204381269_417147167460159

I think 2 banners on either side slightly twisting in the wind would be the way to go, though a giant banner behind the statue sounds very imperial as well, but not so much if there is no wall behind it.

I'm back from an involuntary bed bug and wisdom teeth induced hiatus, and I'm bringing more than just a nice visual update to my site. Today, I've got perhaps my cheapest and easiest basing tutorial yet: a snowy Hoth scene using snow made from white school glue and some baking soda, perfect for E-Webs and Laser Cannons. Hope you enjoy!

Happy Tuesday, folks!

Only one post this week, but it's a double feature: using Agrellan Earth to make Mustafar Lava and Ilum Ice bases for your minis. Hope you enjoy! And if you use this technique, please do ping me on here.

Hey, I just came across this! I've been doing Mustafar bases for my Imperial Troops and have doing pretty much the exact same thing! I think they look really sharp when finished.

I have really liked throwing in a little extra texture/rocks on the bases as well to give them a bit more character and it's gone over really well.

Awesome! Great idea. Any photos?

Not any good ones yet. I'll post some pictures when I have them more squads finished.

The Legion community has been absolutely ABUZZ recently talking about the newest, hottest topic: how to accurately measure range in Legion! Wait, no. That's not it.

Still, do you know the difference between measuring range for an attack and measuring range for...well, anything else? Click through for the answer in the latest installment of my rules series, "Now How the Force Works."

Sometimes you post an article in the middle of an information drought, and sometimes you post an article mere hours before a major rules reference update. Oh well!

To recover my ego, I've put out an article summarizing some of the biggest/most important updates we saw yesterday so that you don't have to spend time pouring over every detail. Hope you enjoy!

A couple weeks back I posted a buying guide for newcomers and returners, but what if you've already got a full army and some extra money to spend? Well, let's take a look at turning Star Wars toys into beautiful terrain for your custom battlefield, featuring a short list and two super quick tutorials!

Today's post:

That's Not How the Force Works: The Attack Resolution Chart

...in which I try and explain the fairly complicates steps involved in attacking and defending in Legion. Probably a good refresher for everybody, but especially for newbies!

Thanks for this! first match - gathering with community on Saturday. This should be very helpful.

Best of luck! Thanks for reading.

With a new set of vehicles just around the corner, what better time than now to re-visit the rules on Displacement? You know, just in case you need to know what happens when one of your two Airspeeders lands on some friendly trooper units. Click for rules explainer goodness!

Some very fun blog news today - Imperial Discipline posts will soon be translated into Portuguese by Gabriel Takahashi from Terrain Factory. We're both very excited to be joining together for this partnership, and I'm honored to try and help grow the Portuguese-speaking Legion community.

If Invader League Season 3 has taught us anything, it's that double bounty hunters are going to be a force unto themselves. But do you know what happens when you've got two bounty tokens to place and only one enemy Commander/Operative to place them on? The answer to that and more inside!

As promised, the thrilling conclusion of my 0-5 Invader League run! Inside I talk a bit about my last two games, as well as a whole host of things I learned about the meta and my own playstyle along the way. I put a lot of heart into this one, so I do hope that you enjoy. Thanks for all the kind messages yesterday, too - I really do appreciate them all.

Great article! I had the same reservations about the E-Webs. Then I played them (always 2) in my lists numerous times and started to really like them. They are tough to learn but rewarding once you get the hang of them.

E-Webs aren't what they should be (I rant almost daily that they should have been range 4) but they aren't unplayable. I've got at least one and probably two in most lists I play, and my E-Webs usually end up putting in work. My list at a RPQ this weekend included two, and only during one game did one of them not have an impact. (the other did great)

New rules explainer up! If you're unfamiliar with Tanks and Landspeeders, this whole article is chock full of information for you. If you're a bit more experienced, you might want to scroll down to the two fringe case explainers: the double-reverse Palp bomb conundrum, and what happens when your bounty target dies in a vehicle. Enjoy!
