Should you be excited for this game?

Excellent review. Ive never been so hyped for a game, its exactly the game i was looking for. I started with this hobbie in 2015, all the games i own were released before i started throwing dices. Ive been excited for expansions, and some cool kickstarters that i never buy cause of the price, since i live in argentina its difficult to get a kick starter for a reasonable price, plus the fact that i try to own games in spanish only. But this, this is the game. I wanted some dungeon crawler or something similar, with good solo and 2 players modes and no miniatures, its exactly what i wanted !.

I'm So happy to hear that! I thought getting kickstarters to Canada was sometimes hard but I bet Argentina is a nightmare. This game is a great low-medium weight dungeon crawler. Its not too long, introduces progression, and is all cards (without a lot of shuffling). It also has a very small footprint. Unlike Gloomhaven which weights like 12-14lbs this game will be easily transportable haha. Ill do another video when more information becomes available.

~Never played the WHammer game....with this game/format, do you play it once, win the 'treasure' and thats it? What happens next?

Yah good question. In the original Warhammer quest adventure card game you potentially get loot, most certainly upgrade abilities, and sometimes get legendary items unique to your character. These persist along the quests until the final quest where the game would then end. The replayability comes from trying different characters, and playing with different people.

The original game was never supported amazingly. They never came out with more quest. My hope for this version is that there will be much more support because FFG owns the rights to the game. There may also be more character customisation, so you may be able to choose different versions of abilities each playthrough.

Despite these somewhat limited replayability of the first game, I definitely played it more than 10 times the whole way through, which is about 40 + hours of play.

Ok thanks.

Ive already committed in my mind to buying on release, so was interested what its like.

I love descent/IA but sometimes with setup etc, it seems too much effort to get out to play(still do play them though) so this might be an ideal 'in between'.

Yeah the set-up for this game is pretty easy. It takes about 5 minutes. The footprint of so small! For someone like me, who plays gloomhaven, which can take an hour to set up before people show up to your house, this game is ideal. You're hanging out, feel like playing a game, suggest this one, bust it out and start playing in no time. There aren't many Dungeon dives you can set up or resume in such a short time.
