So with spoilers trickling in Mando Momma thought she'd make (yet another) mando centric thread to collect all info we have so far on 2nd ed Fang fighters. Curious if I am missing much of anything else? What do you think isn't spoiled yet? I'm hoping for that our elite generic is still the Concord Dawn Ace and we'll see them at Int-3 or possibly 4. My go to list for 1E has been 4 CD Aces with Fearless and Title and I love to fly it, running them in pairs to swing in and out of people's noses and scatter their hulls into the void. I am very excited that they look to be viable again if flown well in 2E with its lack of cheese and turret spam.

Man, you hit a nerve. I was a HUGE fan of Republic Commando, and Karen Traviss' take on Mando'a, the language of the Mandalorian people. Almost thou persuadest me to be a Mandalorian in X-wing.

Boba/2 skull squaddies is probably the first list i’ll try. I might paint up one of my fangs in my mando’s colors. Shameless photo drop incoming.

I love me some Fangs. Definitely gonna get me at least one of the new model. Teaming them up with Boba in some form or fashion will be killer.

I keep holding out hope that the Gauntlet Fighter is not far off so I can recreate (to some degree) the 6th image down in the OP.

Bring me more Mandalorians!

Thanks for this pic! this is the first close up of the new model that I've seen. Does anyone know if the wings spin 360? looks like they are hindered by the peg. If so, I may just hold onto my 1stE ones.....

Unless they did something crazy and receded the peg on the bottom into the model just enough for the wings to go around.

My V1 bucket from back in the day. I will be making new sculpts and casts here soon and work in my V2 finally. Need a better design for the chest... not healthy or comfy for a full bust x.x

And for fun, 3 of my 6 fangs (repainted 5) The purple, teal and white is mine from HoTAC and my new scheme for my next armor set. I'll prolly paint a pivot version in those colors too:

I'd think so, the stand pegs would be in the way during game play

I'm thinking about Afterburners as modification. Better learn how to approach from afar with 3-bank followed by free boost into r1. Then action, which can be linked in case you roll out of arc.

Outmanoeuvre seems counterintuitive to the concordia face off, but strong. Otherwise fearless, crack shot or elusive as EPTs.

I'm liking old teroch in 2.0, as he can deny token fuelled abilities, e.g. Drexler.

I'm ready for the fang

Old Teroch gonna be a staple in many of my scum squads. Defenders will melt like butter.

OldManFenn would be a nice list to run in 2.0.

If they spin 360, I am going to mod and place the peg in the rear and bend me some plastic pegs.

Now this thread speaks my language! This thing in Rebels made me look X-wing (the game) with other eyes!

I plan on buying 1 Firespray and 2 Fang Fighters alongside the Core box as my first plunge into X-wing. Fenn + Teroch + Boba is my first idea.

When we get HWK-290 2.0, I'd like to try Godalhi alongside the 2 Fangs.

It's a **** shame that Clone Wars and Rebels trashed all of that. The Karen Traviss books might have been some of the best Star Wars fiction there was.

Any homegrown material on the Gauntlet out there?

For some reason I really don't like the spinny wings on the fang fighter. Im not sure why, I guess it just looks silly to me.
