Hi Guys,

My first post here and i have a question so i was looking at Star wars destiny as i am a star wars fan and was thinking to piurchase a starter pack and i am not aware of any clubs near were i live and i was wondering if it is possible to play single play as my 2 girls are to young and the wife im sure would not be interested. Forgive me if this has already been asked and do you guys would think of any other alternatives? From a fellow star wars fan.

It's not really possible to play by yourself. You could certainly try, but the game was designed around 2 or more players. I suggest using SW Destiny LFG to try to find events and game nights near you.

People will play test decks by themselves, mostly checking out resource requirement of the deck and speed. It it certainly not the funnest way to play however and isn't designed as single player. Some of the Arkham stuff FFG has can be done solo.

If you’re asking about the LOTR LCG, I have played it a little, and almost exclusively solo. Granted, since it’s co-op I would often play two handed, so I was playing as if I were two different players, but by myself. That is, though, a common thing in that game as I understand it. It is pretty fun, I just haven’t invested in it because I can only afford to invest in one game, and SWD has drawn all of my focus.

LotR Solo play is about as good as solo play can get. The saga campaign is quite good, even Solo.

FFG has an app called Elder Sign. It is exactly the same as their board game of the same name. Provides good solo play.
