I had noticed an interesting bit within the general transition packages that didn't seem to quite mesh with the choices one had available for ascending an Adept. The general package "The Minds Eye Opens" seemed to indicate that an Adept following their path through to Magister (the Psychic path) could potentially ascend Primaris via this package. So, I went and asked for clarification on the matter, and here's what I got:

Now, the only base career that can have a Psy Rating other than a Psyker; barring sorcerery, would be an Adept on the path of the Lexographer/Loremaster/Magister. So, given the above, and meeting these specific conditions, would it be viable for a Magister Adept to ascend into Primaris Psyker?

Hello there!
It would be fine for a Magister Adept to ascend into Primaris Psyker using this transition package. In fact, it was intended for this very purpose if people wanted to do that.
