Generic i1 imperial 3-dice swarms. I’m in love with that style lately.

With Ion Cannons and Proton Torpedoes.
I want to fly twin Defenders with a mini-ace.
I'd love to fly a Punisher, too. You know, at all.
I had hopes for the G1A, but unless that pricetag is really cheap I'm a bit concerned how it is meant to keep up with, well, anything much at all. So many reds on that dial, and the Calculation droid nerf is worrying, too. I guess we'll see, but... I'm not thrilled, I've got to admit it.
Pointy things. Decimators, reapers, and strikers only. Maybe interceptors.
Kath and 2x Trandoshan Slavers if I can jam them into one squadron together.
But besides the regular Scummy stuff I am also keen to fly Saw's U-Wing with some Y-Wings or ARCs and see what that can do.
2 interceptors and as many named ties as I can fit in with them.
Or an inquisitorial strike force: 2 TAP with.... you guessed it.... as many named ties as I can fit in with them.

I Hope I will be able to play three T-70 aces, retaining all named pilots.
I am looking forward to play anything with Kyle Katarn and to watch my wife learn to fly Corran Horn (her Star Wars love-occationally I am a bit jealous).

They look like very similar style ships. A lot of builds that work better are X amount of the same ship so because they look kinda similar they should work really well.

Indeed. TIE strikers and TIE interceptors both look like they should offer decent heavy swarm options.
Autothrusters or Ailerons mean you still get enough manoeuvrability to get your nose pointed wherever you want, and you have enough shots to chew through damage mitigation. The only thing I've seen recently which looks more ludicrous to fly is a Starviper MkII squad.
Whether the 4th hull, bomb slot, and better high-speed turns of the striker beats the 3rd green die, better slow turns, green moves and straight-line speed of the interceptor is something that will be fun to find out.
Plus, there's the nearly-as-manouvrable-but-with-8-freaking-hull TIE Reaper waiting in the wings....

I am really looking forward to running TIE Interceptors with the new shuttle. It could be great under the new rules whereas the TIE Interceptor just isn't that good anymore under 1.0.
Luke with SR, R2-D2, and S-foils (Save about 10 points by opting to not take a Torpedo, may add in later if it fits.) + Thane with R5-D8, S-foils, probably afterburners to keep up with Luke, and an EPT of some sort, (Save another ten) + Nora (Y-Wing) with R4 astromech, Ion Cannon Turret, and Han gunner.
I Really hope this fits, triple 5's could be my jam.

I can't wait to get Wedge and Thane on the table together. Two ace X-Wings flanked by a wingman is exactly my kind of list.

I've been thinking about this a lot and I think it comes down to what uogrades you can fit for the points. I expect they'll both have a handful of leftover points. So if Strikers, being hypothetically cheaper, can fit 5 Hull Upgrades in the squad instead of 3 (random number pulled from my ***), they look like a stronger list, but if Interceptors can all get the extra hull, the advantages of that chassis might be more worthwhile. I desperately want to know points, though. That matters so much for upgrade light generics.
I'm hoping to go Lando with the title and perceptive co-pilot for sure alonside Kyle Katarn with the title and perceptive co-pilot (if he can equip vet turret gunner) or Benthic with FCS and double perceptive copilots.
I also would like Dutch, Benthic, and Shara - a nice action sharing list that enables Shara's ability, and boosts the other 2's offense.
But of course, Dash looks insane...
I'm hoping 2-3 interceptors and 2 phantoms will be viable. Definitely want to run Soontir, but every interceptors will play more like him in 2E.

Roll up, everyone focuses, except for PS 6 Fenn Rau who coordinates Dutch so Dutch TLs. Dutch let's one of the Z's get a lock with his ability.
