Are force powers actions or maneuvers?
Force powers..cost
Actions unless stated otherwise in the power.
Bit more specifically, from page 280 of the F&D core rulebook...
"Once a Force power check has been resolved, this concludes the character's action."
This is in the last paragraph under Force Power Checks, right above the header for Combined Power Checks. I had to go searching for it, as it's not readily apparent.
But generally speaking, unless a Force power (or Force talent) says otherwise, activating it comprises the character's action for that turn, even if they failed to generate any Force points.
Yep. So far, the only Force Power which can be used as a maneuver, is Enhance , and then only with the Force Leaps, and then only if you have the bottom right Control upgrade.
Technically protect can be used as an incidental with the right upgrades.

Any power with the "The Force is My Ally" talent can be activated as a maneuver. There's also Duration Upgrades that let you commit a Force die as an incidental after successfully using the power in the first place (Bind is one such example).
As I indicated in my earlier post, it's an action to use a power unless an exception is specified in the power itself, be it the base power or an upgrade that changes how the power works.

Yeah... Is that a refutation of my statement, or just a non-sequitor off my statement?
because quoting me and saying that seems pretty off the wall.
I think it os just elaborating one what you said. Expinding it with more info. So many seem to seek there being aggression where none exists.
